예술고등학교음악전공교육의활성화방안

국문 초록

문화의 세기로 대변되는 21세기 우리는 창의성 교육의 강조와 더불어 문화예술 교육의 활성화를 위해 노력해야 할 시점에 이르렀다. 이에 본 연구는 예술고등학교 음악전공교육의 활성화를 위한 방안을 탐색해보았다. 선행연구를 통해 예술고등학교의 설립목적과 취지, 그리고 본 연구의 방향을 위한 시사점을 추출하였고, 이를 토대로 예술고등학교 교육 주체들을 대상으로 하는 설문문항을 개발하여 실태와 요구 및 의견을 조사하였다. 설문조사 결과를 분석하여 문제점을 진단하고 그 해결로서 활성화를 위한 방안을 탐색하여 제시하였다. 그 결과로서 음악전공교육의 활성화를 위해 첫째, 음악예술에 대한 사회적 관심과 국가의 정책적 노력이 필요하며 둘째, 국가는 학교에게 교육과정 편성․운영의 자율권을 확대해 주어야 하고 셋째, 학교는 입시위주의 교육으로부터 벗어나 다양한 특성화된 프로그램을 운영할 필요가 있으며 넷째, 음악교육의 주체들을 위한 음악교육 학교 공유시스템을 구축할 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 국가는 우선적으로 학교에게 물적(시설), 인적(강사) 지원을 해 주어야 하며, 음악전공 학생들을 위한 입시의 개선이나 전형제도의 개발 등 제도적 지원을 아끼지 말아야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

In the 21st century, so-called the century of culture, we have reached a turning point in our efforts to revitalize culture and arts education, with emphasized creative education. Accordingly, this research investigated an activation plan for music education in Arts High Schools. Its previous researches derived the establishment purpose and intention of the Schools and implications for this research direction, on which a development of survey questions targeted to arts high schools and investigation on its situation, requirement and opinion were based. We analyzed the result of survey questions, diagnoses its problems and inquired activation plans as its solution. As a result, those for activation of music education are as follows. First, social interests and national policy efforts for music and art are required. Second, school autonomy for curriculum composition and operation should be extended at the national level. Third, schools should run various specialized programs, instead of college entrance exam centered education. Fourth, schools should be constructed their sharing system for subjects in music education. Fifth, schools should be preferentially provided with supports of materials (facilities) and human resources (lecturers) at the national level, as well as systematic supports such as improvement of college entrance exam systems for future music students and development of admission systems.
