중등 음악교육에서 사회정서학습(SEL)을 위한 모형 및 프로그램 개발

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중·고등학생들이 음악활동과 함께 사회정서적 유능성을 향상 시킬 수 있는 음악모형을 개발하는 것과 학교에서 적용할 수 있는 사회정서 음악프로그램을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 첫째, 최근 학교교육 환경과 SEL의 이론적 고찰을 하였다. 둘째, 청소년 교육에서 사회정서학습(SEL)의 의미와 음악교육의 시사점을 탐색하였다. 셋째, 음악과 교육과정에 제시된 영역과 사회정서적 유능성의 틀인 자기인식, 사회적 인식, 책임있는 의사결정, 자기관리, 관계관리 등의 요소를 연계하여 실천 방안을 구안하였다. 넷째, 사회정서 교육프로그램 중에서 TBF를 기초하여 음악과 사회정서학습 모형을 개발하였다. 다섯째 이를 근거로 중등학교에서 활용할 수 있는 방과후학교 SEL음악 프로그램과, 수업시간에 적용할 수 있는 SEL음악 교수?학습 방안을 제시하였다. 마지막으로는 사회정서 음악프로그램을 지도함에 있어서 고려해야 할 내용을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to develop a social emotional learning(SEL) model for music education and to propose the social emotional music program to apply in a school so that students at middle schools and high schools can enhance their SEL capability through musical exercises. First, we studied the latest school environment and theories on SEL. Second, we investigated the meaning of SEL in the education of adolescents and the implication of music education. Third, we designed the action plan in relation to both the proposed section in the music education curriculum and the frameworks of social emotional capability that include self-perception, social perception, responsible decision-making, self-management, and relationship management. Forth, we developed a TBF-based music education model in the social emotional programs. Fifth, in the base of this, we suggest a SEL-based teaching-learning method in music education that can be applied to after-school SEL music programs, as well as to official music classes at middle schools. And lastly, we discussed the consideration in teaching the social emotional music program.
