국문 초록

본 연구는 현재 개설, 운영 중인 대학 교양수업 중 비교적 높은 비중을 차지하는 서양음악 과목에 관한 구체적인 수업운영 및 지도방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. ‘감상’과 ‘서양음악의 이해’, ‘서양음악사’ 등은 일반적인 서양음악 수업 유형으로서 학생들의 선호도와 관심도 또한 높은 과목이라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 교양 음악수업으로서의 교육적 효과와 장점의 부각을 위한 방편으로 ‘서양음악의 포괄적인 이해’를 목표로 두고 ‘서양음악사’와‘감상’을 접목, 맥락적 접근을 통한 구체적이며 세부적인 지도안을 제시하였다. 또한 다양한 교수방법 및 수업운영을 도입함으로 대학 음악수업으로서의 전문성 확립에 근접하고자 하였으며 과목의 특성을 최대한 활용한 참여 학습 및 심화학습 세안을 통해 수업 만족도와 효율성을 높이는 데에 목적을 두었다. 나아가 예술교과 영역의 교수-학습 개발 및 질적 향상에 기여 하고자 한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to present a specific method for class operation and a teaching plan regarding the subject of the western music which takes a relatively much proportion of the college liberal arts education. “Listening to and Understanding of Western Music” is the most common type of western music classes, and relatively easy to take and to acquire credits with, so that it is the subject which commands the students’ high preference and much attention as a liberal arts class. Thus, this study combined ‘the history of western music’ and its ‘listening’ with its comprehensive understanding as an objective in an effort to highlight the educational effects and benefits of the class, and presented a concrete and detailed teaching plan by a contextual approach. In addition, it sought to come closer to the establishment of the specialty of music teaching by introducing a variety of modern teaching methods and class operations, and to increase the degree of satisfaction and efficiency of the classes through participatory classes taking full advantage of the characteristics of this subject and a detailed plan for an in-depth learning. Furthermore, it aims to contribute to the development of and the quantitative improvement of teaching-learning in arts curricular.
