국문 초록

이 연구는 특수교육대상 학생들에게 적합한 양질의 음악교육을 제공해 주는데 가장 큰 바탕이 되는 특수음악교육의 의미와 필요성을 파악하고, 이와 연관된 2015 개정 특수교육 음악과 교육과정의 개발 방향을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이러한 목적과 함께 이 연구는 다음과 같은 방법으로 수행되었다. 첫째, 특수학교에서 음악교육의 중요성을 논하였다. 둘째, 2015 개정 특수교육 기본 교육과정의 개정 방향 그리고 이에 따른 특수교육 음악과 교육과정의 개발 방향을 체계적으로 살펴보았다. 셋째, 2011 음악과 교육과정과의 비교를 통해 새롭게 변화된 내용들을 점검해 보았다. 2015 개정 특수교육 음악과 교육과정의 가장 큰 특징은 음악과의 특성을 고려하여 음악적 표현, 음악적 감수성, 음악적 소통능력, 창의융합능력의 4가지 교과역량을 선정하고, 교육과정을 표현, 감상, 생활화의 3가지 영역으로 구분해서 각 영역별로 핵심개념, 내용, 내용요소, 기능을 진술한 것이다. 또한 성취기준의 내용을 이전 교육과정에 비해 축소시켜 학습의 부담을 경감시켰다는 것도 특징이다. 이 연구가 특수학교 음악교사들로 하여금 음악과 교육과정에 대한 이해도를 높여줌으로서 특수학교의 현장에서 음악수업의 질적 변화를 유도하고 또한 교과서 개발을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to grasp the meaning and necessity of special music education that becomes the chief cornerstone in providing high-quality music education suitable for students with special needs, and carry out research on the direction of developing the related 2015 revised special education music curriculum. Together with this purpose, this study was carried out by the following method. First, the importance of music education at special school was discussed. Second, this study systematically examined the direction of revising basic special education curriculum in 2015, and the accompanying direction of developing special education music curriculum. Third, new changes were checked through comparison with 2011 music curriculum. The most significant feature of 2015 revised special education music curriculum is to select 4 types of subject-specific competency, i.e., musical expression, musical sensitivity, musical cmmunication skill and creative convergence competency in consideration of characteristics of subject of music, and classify the curriculum into 3 categories of expression, appreciation and popularization, and set forth the key concept, content, content element and function according to category. Besides, another feature is alleviation of study load by reducing the contents of achievement standards in comparison with previous curriculum. It is to be hoped that this study will serve as foundation for inducing the qualitative change of music class at special school by increasing the special school music teacher’s understanding of music curriculum, and furthermore, will be utilized as baseline data for improving a teachingžlearning method and evaluation method, and developing a textbook.
