국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 Bloom의 신교육목표분류학에 근거하여 초등학교 3-4학년군 음악 교과서의 학습목표를 분석하는데 있다. 연구를 위한 분석대상은 2009 개정 교육과정에 따른 초등학교 음악 3-4학년군 교과서 7종의 학습목표 77개이다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 절반 이상의 학습목표는 개념적 지식을 ‘이해하다’, ‘적용하다’, ‘창조하다’로, 특정 유형의 지식과 인지과정에 편중된 현상을 보인다. 둘째, 지식차원에서 개념적 지식이 높은 비율을 차지하고 있는 반면, 메타인지 지식은 그 정도가 매우 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, 인지과정 차원에서는 ‘이해하다’의 목표가 차지하는 비율이 가장 높고, ‘평가하다’와 ‘분석하다’의 목표 비중은 매우 낮다. 분석결과를 토대로 초등학교 음악 교과서의 학습목표에 대한 제언을 하면, 학습자들이 다양한 유형의 지식과 인지과정을 경험할 수 있도록 교사는 다양한 범주의 수업목표의 진술에 보다 적극적인 관심을 가져야 할 것이다. 아울러 교과서 집필의 기준이 되는 교육과정의 성취기준과 영역별 지도사항의 진술에 대해서도 고민할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the learning objectives of elementary school grade 3-4 music textbooks based on Bloom s revised taxonomy of educational objectives. For this study, seventy seven learning objectives of seven kinds of elementary school grade 3-4 music textbooks in 2009 revised music curriculum were analyzed. The findings of this study are summarized as follows. First, more than half of learning objectives are classified as the conceptual knowledge category and the understand, apply, create categories. This shows the predominance of specific knowledge and cognitive process. Second, in the dimension of knowledge, conceptual knowledge has the highest percentage, whereas metacognitive knowledge has the lowest percentage, Third, in the dimension of cognitive process, the percentage of understand is the highest and the percentages of evaluate and analyze are very low. Based on this results, the implication for the learning objectives of elementary school music textbooks is that teachers should be aware of taxonomy of educational objectives and consider a variety of instructional objective categories in their music teaching so that learners experience diverse knowledge and cognitive process. In addition, it is necessary to pay more attention to establish the achievement standards and teaching guidelines in the music curriculum because it is the criteria for developing textbooks.
