초등 음악교과전담제 운영실태 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 우리나라 초등음악교육의 운영현황 및 실태를 파악하여 음악교사의 전문성 증대를 위한 교사 양성제도 제시(제안)를(을) 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 전국 17개 도교육청과 177개 지원교육청을 대상으로 초등학교 음악전담교사의 심화교육과정 이수여부를 파악하였다. 이 중 충남, 충북, 전남, 전북에 소재한 초등 음악전담교사 589명 중 103명의 설문조사 결과를 분석하였다. 그 결과 우리나라 초등학교의 ‘교과전담제도’는 초등 교사의 심화교육과정 전문성보다 학교장의 권한, 학교 행정상의 이유, 교사의 개인적인 사유 등에 따라 운영되고 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 초등교사의 교과 전문성을 고려한 교과전담제의 운영, 초등 음악교육환경 개선, 음악교과의 전문성 함양을 위한 다양한 교사연수 프로그램 등이 실시되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status and the Operation of elementary school music instructors in charge and to suggest the direction of future development for educating musicians with professionalism. For this purpose, we analyzed elementary school music instructors in the 17 Provincial offices of education and 177 supporting education offices nationwide Whether they qualified the advanced music courses in their college level. The 103 music teachers among the 589 elementary music teachers in Chung-nam, Chung-buk, Jeon-nam, and Jeon-buk area were surveyed. As a result, it was Found that subject-based system was operated differently from the purpose Of elementary education in Korea. Most music teachers were placed according to the authority of the school principal, reasons for school administration, and personal reasons for teachers. The result of this research revealed that it is urgent to arrange the teachers considering their specialization of the subject in the elementary school curriculum management. Furthermore this research suggests that various teacher training programs should be provided to improve the music education environment of the elementary school and to enhance the professionalism of the music curriculum.
