교육과정별 고등학교 음악교과서 국악내용의 변천 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 1차 교육과정 시기부터 현재 2009 개정 교육과정까지 교과과정별 고등학교 교과서의 국악 감상과 이해, 그리고 기악 영역을 분석함으로써 국악교육의 역사를 재조명하여 우리나라 교과서의 발전을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고 궁극적으로 국악교육의 나아갈 방향을 제시하는데 있다. 1차 교육과정에서는 하나의 교과서를 2,3차에서는 두 개의 교과서를, 나머지 교육과정에서는 각 3종의 교과서를 분석하였다 이 연구의 결과는 첫째, 우리나라 교육과정에서는 1차에서 2007개정 교육과정까지 가창, 기악, 창작, 감상, 이해 등 각 영역에서 국악을 다룰 것을 명시하고 있고, 지도유의 사항에서 다시 국악을 될 수 있으면 많이 다룰 것을 강조하고 있다. 둘째, 국악 이해영역에서는 국악사를 가장 많이 다루고 있었고, 그 다음으로 국악기, 분류, 음계, 장단의 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 기악영역의 악기 교육은 점점 자세히 소개하고 연습곡도 많아지고 있다. 그리고 풍물놀이 등 이론으로 하던 것들도 이론위주의 소개에서 벗어나 직접 연주하는 활동으로 가는 경향이 뚜렷하였다.

영문 초록

In this paper, we present directions of Korean music education to improve our textbooks, by analyzing sections of Korean music appreciation and understanding up to three highschool textbooks which follow the first national highschool curriculum through the present 2009 national curriculum. One textbook was analyzed from the frist curriculum, two from the second and third, and three from the rest. Especially we present basic information needed to improve the sections of Korean music appreciation and understanding. The results are follows. First, the highschool curriculums from the first to the 2007 revision require the inclusion of Korean music in the sections of singing, instrument, composition, appreciation, and understanding. Moreover, the guideline specifically emphasizes including Korean music as much as possible. Second, in the section of Korean music understanding, the textbooks treat Korean music history the most. Then Korean music instruments, classification, scales, and jandan are treated in that order of importance. Third, the textbooks treat Korean music appreciation and understanding the most in the 6th and 7th curriculums, and the textbooks consider Korean music less in variety and frequency of treatment in the following curriculums. Fourth, the textbooks tend to treat instruments in the form of direct performance rather than in the form of theoretical introduction.
