어린이집 교실에서의 피아노 활용에 대한 원장의 인식

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 피아노 활용에 대한 어린이집 원장의 인식을 알아봄으로써 유아교육 현장에서의 음악교육에 대한 인식을 증진시키고 유아교사가 피아노를 교육현장에서 다양하고 적극적인 방법으로 활용할 수 있도록 음악적 환경 구성에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구대상은 B광역시 소재 어린이집 원장 258명이고 피아노 활용교육에 대한 일반적인 인식과 실태에 대한 인식문항으로 구성된 설문지를 통하여 조사 수집된 자료는 PASW 18.0 프로그램으로 통계처리 되었다. 연구결과 어린이집 원장들은 피아노활용을 통한 유아교육의 필요성을 높게 인식했고 특히 담임교사의 피아노활용 기술을 중요하게 인식하였다. 그리고 피아노활용교육이 유아의 음악성 발달 및 유아의 리듬, 화음, 청음능력에 효과가 있다고 응답하였지만 담임교사의 피아노연주기술 부족으로 인해 유아와의 활동에서피아노 활용의 실태는 낮게 인식한다고 응답함으로써 인식과 실태의 차이를 보여주었다. 결론적으로 피아노 연주기술은 단기간에 향상되기 어려운 점과 유아교육의 특성상 교수자의 즉흥성과 융통성이 특히 강조되는 점을 감안하여 유아와의 활동이 원활할 수 있도록 유아교사양성기관은 체계적이고 전문적인 피아노 교육의 필요함이 시사되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the perceptions of the child care center directors on the piano utilization in order to provide active music educational environment in the practical teaching settings for young children. Survey questionnaire on the necessity and the reasons for piano utilization and the piano class experience during their undergraduate teacher training courses and the difference between the perception and practice was conducted with 258 child care center directors in B metro city. Collected data was analyzed by PASW 18.0 program. Research findings are: First majority of the subjects answered piano utilization as the necessity for the free and joyful educational performance with young children. Second there was the perceptual differences on children`s listening ability and the satisfactory level among the subjects according to the types of child care centers and to their piano performance levels. Lastly there was a gap between the directors` perception and the perception on the practice on the piano utilization. In conclusion the importance of the directors` perception on the piano utilization was emphasized and teaching and learning piano performance of the prospective and in- service teachers in child educational settings was suggested.
