영문 초록

This psychiatric study was conducted on 13 hospitalized patients who are captured by abnorm al religious delusion. The contents of the study covers stan dard of living, educational back-ground, family relations, type of religion, the motivation to be converted to specific religion, clinical diagnosis and ch aracteristics of delusion etc. The salient points of the study are as follows： 1. Identifying D ata： A. As for sex of patients, female outnum bered male by 9:4. B. The standard of living of questioned patients are mostly of lower and middle class. In the meantime, the level of educational back ground of the group are various ranging fromunalphabet to a high school and college. C. Two main motivation of conversion are anxiety and incredulity about life. D. In the light of duration from conversion to hospitalization, the diagnosis result shows that the patients who has short duration of less than 3 months are mostly identified A cute Schizophrenic Epipode, while those who have comparatively long duration of more than 2 years were identified Schizophrenia. E. Seven of these 13 patients are of family who have had psychiatric treatment in the past. F. Christians are major portion in numerical segment. 2. Characteristics of Religious Delusion are mainly divided into Wishful Delusion and Grandeous Delusion.
