사랑척도 연구의 동향과 과제

국문 초록

본 연구는 사랑에 관한 과학적 연구 업적 중에서 사랑척도의 연구 동향과 과제를 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 1968년부터 2001년 까지 발표된 사랑을 측정하기 위해 개발된 척도 총 13개 중에서 최종 8개를 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 연구대상 척도의 평정을 위해 상담심리전공자 5명이 평정자로 참여하였고, 선정기준으로는 첫째, 사랑을 평가하는 척도일 것, 둘째, 주요 요인이 사랑양상 을 측정하는 것으로 구성될 것, 셋째, 임상과 연구에 활용된 것, 넷째, 주요 학술DB를 통해 관련 키워드 검색이 가능해야 하고, 원문이 제공되거나 관련 정보가 수록된 자료로 하였다. 먼저, 주요 사랑척도의 연구 동향을 분석하기 위해 목적, 정의, 척도유형, 규준정보, 신뢰도와 타당도 등으로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 그 결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 사랑척도의 주요 목적은 이성관계, 부부관계, 연인관계에서의 낭만적 사랑, 자비적 사랑, 사랑 태도, 낭만과 비낭만, 사랑유형, 열정적 감정, 사랑하고 친밀한 관계를 형성할 수 있는 능력에 대한 것을 측정하기 위한 연구동향이 있었다. 둘째, 사랑에 대한 정의는 두 개의 척도에서만 조작적 정의를 제공하 였고, 이론적 토대가 없거나 구성요소에 대한 조작적 정의를 제공하지 않는 경우가 있었다. 그리고 사랑척도는 모두 리커트 척도로 구성되었고, 연구대상을 고등학생, 대학생, 교수, 죄수 등을 적은 규모로 표집하여 일반화하기 어려운 제한점을 보였다. 또한 신뢰도는 모든 척도가 높은 신뢰수준을 보여 일관성과 안정성을 확보하였고, 타당도는 타당화된 척도와 부분적으로 타당도가 불균 형한 척도가 있었다. 이와 같이 사랑을 측정하기 위한 척도들의 목적은 이성관계, 부부관계, 연인관계에서 사랑의 감정, 태도, 유형 등을 측정하는 데 연구의 목적이 집중되었음을 알 수 있었다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 사랑이 개인의 행복, 불행에 영향을 미치는 심리적 변인, 정신건강의 결정적 역할, 그리고 심리적 적응수준을 알기 위한 정신건강 예측 변인으로서의 사랑척도를 연구 할 필요성이 있음을 밝혔다. 그리고 사랑척도 개발에 필요한 향후 연구 과제로 구인 연구, 새로운 이론의 계발을 위한 개념적 정의와 조작적 정의의 체계화, 피실험자의 특성을 일반화할 수 있는 연구와 척도의 타당화 연구 등을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to verify the trend of research on love scale and research issues among the scientific achievements about love. To achieve this, the final 8 subject of study is selected among 13 scales which were announced from1968 to 2001 for measuring love. To rate an object scale of study, 5 counselling psychology specialists participated in the program. Following statements are the standards of selection. First, they must be a scale for evaluating love. Second, they must be consisted of measuring love aspect. Third, they must be consisted of the theory related to love. Forth, they were selected among mainly used in clinic and research at home and abroad. First, to analysis the research trend of main love scales related to love selected, they were classified by the purpose, the definition, the scale type, the criterion information, reliability, validity, etc. Following statements are the result. First, main purpose of love scale is the research trend to measure the ability of forming romantic love, compassionate love, love attitude, romance and non-romance, love type, passionate emotion, and close relationship in heterosexual, conjugal relations and romantic relationship. Second, there were operant definitions on the love in two scales, there were no theoretical basis and operant definition on the component in the other scales. And all love scales are consist of Lickert scale, because research objects were sampled small scale as high school student, university student, professor, prisoner, etc , there was a limitation to generalize. Also there were high reliability on all scales to ensure consistency and stability, there were validated scales and some imbalanced scales which were partially validated. The purpose of research was focused on the love emotions, attitudes, types in heterosexual, conjugal relationship, romantic relationship. By this research results, it is necessary to study the prediction factors as mental health to find the psychological factor, the decisive role of mental health and the psychological adaption level which influence on love. And I suggested construct researches, the conceptual definition and the systematization of operant definition, and the propriety research of scales as next research subject for developing love scales in this study.
