국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구는 저경력 특수교사의 특수교육대학원 학습경험을 서술함으로써 교사 재교육을 통한 저경력 특수교사의 전문성 발달 과정과 그 의미를 이해하는 데 있다. 연구방법: 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 질적연구 중 자문화기술지를 활용하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 저경력 특수교사였던 나는 특수교육 분야에서 전문성을 높이고 학문적 욕구를 충족하며 다양한 외재적 가치를 목적으로 하여 특수교육대학원에 진학하였다. 둘째, 저경력 특수교사였던 나는 특수교육대학원에서 학습하며 특수교육에 대한 전문 지식을 쌓고 새로운 학습 방법을 터득하며 교육 공동체를 형성하는 경험을 하였다. 셋째, 저경력 특수교사였던 나는 특수교육대학원에서의 학습경험을 통해 개인적 성장, 실제적 성장, 사회적 성장을 이루었다. 결론: 이 연구는 특수교육대학원에서 학습 중이거나 진학을 희망하는 현직 교사들이 특수교육대학원에서의 학습경험을 이해하고 성찰하는 데 유용한 기초자료가 될 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe the learning experiences of novice special education teachers in graduate school for special education, in order to understand the process of professional development and the significance of their expertise through teacher retraining. Method: The methodology of this study involves using autoethnography, a qualitative research method, to richly and thoroughly document and analyze the experiences of novice special education teachers. Results: The results of this study are as follows. First, the novice special education teacher entered the graduate school of special education due to both intrinsic and extrinsic motivations. Second, the researcher experienced deep knowledge, learner-centered teaching methods, and reflective learning at the graduate school of special education. Third, the researcher achieved personal, practical, and social growth through the learning experience at the graduate school, which enhanced their professional competence as a special education teacher. Conclusion: The findings of this study highlight the need for learning experiences in graduate schools of special education to improve the professional development of novice special education teachers.
