폴라니의 암묵지와 노나카의 SECI 모델이 함의하는 교육적 시사점

국문 초록

본 연구는 폴라니의 암묵적 지식과 노나카의 SECI모델을 교육적 상황에 적용하는 것의 가능성과 한계를 검토하였다. 이를 위해 폴라니의 지식 이론과 노나카의 모델이 교육적 발달과 관련하여 갖는 특장점 및 주요 한계가 상세히 분석되었다. 분석의 결과, 두 이론들의 설명은 교육을 위해 많은 유용한 점들에 대한 가능성을 보여주는 반면, 현재의 교육적 상황은 학교 교사들과 학생들이 이에 접근 가능성조차 근본적으로 구조적으로 막고 있다. 이러한 중요한 장애물 가운데 몇 가지를 특정해 본다면 국가 교육과정과 주로 이론 및 원리로 구성된 문서에 기반한 교수학습 설계들이 그것이다. 교육적 실제를 발전시키기 위해 수많은 제안들이 나온 바 있지만, 우리는 발견의 두 가지 의미와 ‘실천’에 대한 새로운 해석을 절대 놓칠 수 없다.

영문 초록

This study has tackled on the limits and possibilities of the application of Polanyi’s tacit knowing and Nonaka’s SECI model to the educational situations. For this, Polanyi’s theory of knowing and Nonaka’s model have been minutely analyzed to take their merits for and crucial limits against educational development. Whereas their account throws light on the possibilities of many advantages for education, as a result of the analysis, the present educational situations fundamentally and structurally prevent our schoolteachers and pupils from even the approach possibility to this. Among these crucial obstacles are particularly national curriculum and teaching-learning designs based on the documentary comprising mainly theories and principles. To improve the educational practices, so many suggestions have proposed, but we never fail to miss out particularly two senses of discovery and the new interpretation of ‘practice’.
