국문 초록

(Purpose) This study aims to systematically identify the spatial characteristics and value elements of local living SOC(social overhead capital) and focus on functional expansion and integration. By examining these aspects, this study provides basic guidelines for the design and operation of living SOC facilities. (Design/Methodology/Approach) This study analyzes domestic and international living SOC facilities, including cultural, childcare, and medical facilities. It uses spatial characteristic reviews, Delphi analysis, and case studies to evaluate use, social, cultural, and environmental values. (Findings) The research results showed that while the social value of living SOC facilities was high, their environmental value was low. By type, childcare facilities showed outstanding performance in social and environmental value, cultural facilities in social and cultural value, and health facilities in social value. Through this, it was found that the degree of realization of spatial value differs depending on the unique function of each type of living SOC. (Research implications or Originality) Through the research results, policymakers and practitioners can reflect social values by considering the functions and characteristics of space in the planning and operation of living SOC.
