국문 초록

북한의 고등학교 현대사를 다루는 『위대한 수령 김일성대원수님 혁명력사』는 1912년 출생하여 1994년 사망한 김일성의 일대기를 서술한다. 특수교과목인 혁명력사는 1926년 타도제국주의동맹을 기점으로 카륜회의, 조선인민혁명군 창설, 반민생단 투쟁, 보천보 전투, 고난의 행군을 거친 항일무장투쟁사를 설명하고, 이러한 항일무장투쟁의 역사와 전통이 사회주의 건설과 주체 노선의 확립 과정에서 사상, 정책, 경제전략, 교양교육 등에서 어떻게 계승되었는가를 기술한다. 북한 사회에서 항일무장투쟁의 사상체계와 사업방식/작풍은 주체사상은 물론 혁명적 군중노선과 발전전략, 선군정치와 총대철학, 사상교양과 문화적 동원 등 사회의 모든 영역에서 구현되었다. ‘온 사회의 주체사상화’로 이어진 항일무장투쟁의 혁명전통은 북한의 정권 창출과 지배의 정당성을 확보하는 중요한 수단이었고 ‘생산도 학습도 생활도 항일유격대식으로’라는 국가적 구호는 전인민의 삶을 좌우하는 사상적, 정책적 슬로건이었다. 이 논문은 북한의 고등학교 혁명력사 교과서에서 항일무장투쟁의 역사를 검토하고 혁명전통의 창조에 관한 역사 인식과 서사를 분석한다.

영문 초록

Dealing with the modern history of North Korea, the high school textbooks of Great Leader Kim Il Sung Revolutionary History describes the life of Kim Il-sung who was born in 1912 and died in 1994. The revolutionary history textbooks explain the history of the anti-Japanese guerrilla struggle starting with the Anti-imperialist Alliance in 1926, the Karyun Meeting, the establishment of the Korean People’s Revolutionary Army, the anti-Minsaengdan struggle, the Bocheonbo battle, and the Arduous March. They also describe how such anti-Japanese history and tradition were inherited in the policies, economic strategies, and ideological education in the process of socialist construction and the establishment of the Juche line in North Korea. In North Korean society, the ideological system and work styles of the anti-Japanese armed struggle were embodied in all areas of society, including the Juche idea, the revolutionary mass line and development strategy, the military-first politics and the philosophy of arms, and ideological education and cultural mobilization. The revolutionary tradition of the anti-Japanese armed struggle that led to the Juche Ideology of the Entire Society was an important means of securing the legitimacy of North Korea’s regime creation and domination, and the national slogan “Production, Learning, and Life in the Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Style” was an ideological and political policy that changed the lives of all the people. This article analyzes the history of Kim Il sung’s anti-Japanese armed struggle and the narrative of the creation of revolutionary tradition in North Korean high school revolutionary history textbooks.
