In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) and film performance have increasingly intertwined, evolving from tools into active participants in cinematic interpretation. Notably, virtual digital humans, as representations of technological bodies endowed with subjectivity, now engage directly in film performance practices. This paper examines the transformative tendencies of digital performance and explores its dual functions in the film industry: as a medium for ideological dissemination and as an asset for digital character creation. Meanwhile, the boundary between algorithmic logic and essential human logic is progressively blurring, with the data Matthew effect undermining the diversity of virtual characters and eroding the inherent humanistic values of cinema. In response, the digital transformation of film performance necessitates adherence to a communal aesthetic perspective. This involves critically addressing potential cultural hegemony in film production and the resulting silencing of human subjectivity, while seeking viable pathways to balance digital performance with the conveyance of humanity in the era of intelligence.
