인과순환지도 분석을 통한 농촌 관광자원 활성화 방안 제시 - 전북특별자치도 진안군을 중심으로

국문 초록

이 연구는 진안군을 대상으로 농촌관광 시스템의 쇠퇴구조에 대해 인과순환지도로 분석하고 농촌 관광자원을 활성화시킬 수 있는 방안을 제시했다. 인과순환지도는 농촌관광에 대한 시스템을 구조화하고 분석할 수 있는 연구방법으로, 진안군 지역을 대상으로 농촌관광 시스템의 구조에 대해 관광의 주체와 객체, 매체를 중심으로 분석을 수행했다. 연구의 결과로, 진안군 지역의 농촌관광 시스템 쇠퇴 구조는 관광자원의 측면에서 마이산을 둘러싼 가치의 상충이 나타났으며 접근성의 측면에서는 도로와 철도 접근성의 지연으로 인한 구조가 나타났다. 또한 진안군의 관광 인프라와 서비스 측면에서 특산품 생산을 위한 축산 및 퇴비시설과 인구감소로 인한 빈집과 노후주택 등이 관광 서비스 질의 약화로 나타났다. 진안군 농촌 관광자원의 활성화 방안으로 첫째는 생태관광자원의 활성화를 제시하여 지속적인 생태관광의 강화 구조를 제시하고자 했다. 둘째로는 농촌특화지구의 도입과 축산시설의 관광자원 활용 방안, 그리고 빈집과 노후주택과 같은 취약시설을 숙박시설로 전환시키는 방안을 제시하였다. 이는 진안군 지역의 농촌관광 시스템을 구조적으로 이해함으로써 관광시스템이 쇠퇴하는 원인과 결과, 이들의 상호작용을 복합적으로 분석하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 구조적인 변경을 제안하여 쇠퇴에 대응하고 관광 시스템을 활성화하는 방안을 제시했다는 점에서 중요성이 있다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed how the rural tourism system in Jinan County, South Korea, has declined and suggested ways to revitalize rural tourism resources. The causal loop diagram, which is a research method that can structure and analyze the system of rural tourism, was utilized to understand the rural tourism system of Jinan, focusing on the subject, objects, and media of tourism. The study found the following results. First, the decline in the structure of the rural tourism system in Jinan was due to the conflict of values surrounding Mt. Maisan as a tourism resource and the delay in road and railway accessibility. In addition, in regard to tourism infrastructure and services in Jinan, the presence of livestock and composting facilities and vacant and decrepit housing undermined the quality of tourism services. To revitalize rural tourism resources in Jinan, the following can be considered. First, ecotourism resources should be developed and promoted to strengthen the structure of ecotourism. Second, the introduction of rural specialized districts, the use of livestock facilities for tourism purposes, and the conversion of empty and old houses into accommodation facilities can be proposed. This study is meaningful because it analyzed the causes and outcomes of the rural tourism system decline and their complex interaction for a systematic understanding of the rural tourism system in Jinan. It is also significant in that it suggests structural changes to counteract the decline and revitalize the tourism system.
