대학생 내담자가 지각하는 집단상담 성과 요인과 성격 강점에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생 집단상담에서 내담자가 상담의 성과와 성과요인, 상담자와 내담자의 성격강점을 어떻게 지각하는 지를 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 2024년 3월∼8월까지 충남의 C 대학교에 재학중인 대학생 중 교내 상담센터에서 집단상담 프로그램에 참여했던 내담자 24명을 대상으로 연구자가 개별면접을 실시하고 면접 내용을 현상학적 방법으로 분석하였다. 내담자들은 집단상담을 통해 자기이해와 수용, 타인이해와 수용, 문제통찰 및 해결, 감정정화와 안녕감, 긍정적 성장 변화를 상담의 성과로 제시하였다(5개상위 범주, 21개 하위 범주). 또한 집단상담을 촉진하는 성과요인으로 내담자 영역에서는 적극적 참여, 공감과경청, 긍정적 변화 의지, 상담자 영역에서는 상담자의 전문성, 상담자의 자질, 상담환경 영역에서는 허용적인상담 분위기, 친밀하고 안전한 관계가 분류되었다(7개 상위 범주, 22개 하위 범주). 내담자들이 지각한 집단상담에서 효과적인 상담자의 성격 강점은 긍정성, 친절성, 리더십, 열정, 진정성, 공정성, 배려심, 융통성, 통찰력, 개방성, 인내심으로 나타났다. 또한 내담자들이 상담을 통해 새롭게 인식한 자기 성격 강점은 개방성, 성실성, 긍정성, 열정, 겸손, 배려, 외향성, 차분함, 사려깊음, 끈기, 솔직함으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 대학생 집단상담의성과 및 성과 요인을 상담의 직접적인 참여자인 내담자에게서 도출하였다는 데 의의가 있다. 이 연구의 결과는대학 상담 분야의 상담자 교육과 상담 성과 도구 개발에 기본자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze how clients perceive the outcome and outcome factors of counseling and the personality strengths of clients and counselor in group counseling for college students. For this study, 24 clients who participated in group counseling programs at on-campus among college students enrolled in C University in Chungnam from March to August 2024 were targeted. The researcher conducted individual interviews with them and analyzed the interview contents in a qualitative research. Through group counseling, clients presented self-understanding and acceptance, understanding and acceptance of others, problem insight and resolution, emotional purification and well-being, and positive growth changes as outcomes of counseling(5 categories, 21 subcategories). And Performance factors promoting group counseling were active participation, empathy and listening, positive change willingness in the client area, counselor expertise, counselor quality in the counselor area, permissive counseling atmosphere, and intimate and safe relationships in the counseling environment area(7 categories, 22 subcategories). In group counseling perceived by clients, the effective personality strengths of counselors were positivity, kindness, leadership, passion, sincerity, fairness, consideration, flexibility, insight, openness, and patience. And The personality strengths of clients newly recognized through group counseling were openness, sincerity, positivity, passion, humility, consideration, extroversion, calmness, consideration, persistence, and honesty. This study was significant in that outcome and outcome factors of group counseling for college students were derived from clients who participated in counseling. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the education of counselors in the field of university counseling and the development of counseling outcome tests.
