국문 초록

요한계시록에 나타난 구약 선지서의 암시를 연구할 때, 에스겔서(A. Vanhoye[1962], M. D. Goulder[1981], J. M. Vogelgesang [1985], J-P. Ruiz[1989], P. B. Decock[1999], 이정화[2020], 김진주[2023])와 다니엘서(G. K. Beale[1984])는 물론, 요엘서(김경식[2011])와 스가랴서(M. Jauhiainen[2003])도 학자들의 관심을 끌었다. 지난 세기에 요한계시록에 나타난 이사야서의 영향에 관한 연구는 얀 페커스(Jan Fekkes III)가 거의 다 마무리했다. 오니(D. E. Aune)는 이사야서와 계시록 간의 언어와 주제적 유사성에 관한 페커스의 연구를 20세기 후반기의 “요한계시록 연구에서 가장 중요한 기여”라 평가했다. 본 연구는 아직까지 거의 주목을 받지 못한 ‘예수그리스도의 계시’인 요한계시록의 내러티브 전개에 나타난 플롯과신학에 미쳤을 법한 이사야서의 영향에 집중한다. 이 연구는 요한계시록 연구에서 에스겔서와 다니엘서의 간본문성에 치우친 것을 교정할 뿐 아니라, 계시록과 이사야서를 비롯하여 다른 선지서들과의 간본문적 연구를 촉진할 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

When studying the allusions of the Old Testament prophetic books in the Book of Revelation, Ezekiel (A. Vanhoye [1962], M. D. Goulder [1981], J. M. Vogelgesang[1985], J-P. Ruiz[1989], P. B. Decock [1999], Jeong-hwa Lee [2020], Jin-ju Kim [2023]) and Daniel (G. K. Beale [1984]), as well as Joel (Kyeong-sik Kim [2011]) and Zechariah (M. Jauhiainen [2003]) attracted scholars’ attention. In the last century, studies on the influence of Isaiah in the Book of Revelation was almost completed by Jan Fekkes III. Thus D. E. Aune evaluated Fekkes’ study of the linguistic and thematic similarities between Isaiah and Revelation as “the most important contribution to the study of Revelation” in the second half of the 20th century. This study focuses on how the Book of Isaiah influenced on the plot and theology in the Book of Revelation, the ‘revelation of Jesus Christ’ that has not yet received proper attention. This study is expected to not only correct overly biased tendency towards Ezekiel and Daniel as the most important intertexts of the book of Revelation, but also promotes intertextual studies of Revelation with other prophetic books including Isaiah.
