국문 초록

산업단지는 특정 지역에 산업 활동을 집중시키는 것을 목적으로 하는 공간으로 산업 생산시설을 집단적으로 설립하고 육성하기 위해 계획적으로 개발한 용지를 말한다. 산업단지는 국가의 경제 성장과 산업 발전 맥락에서 중추적인 역할을 해왔으며, 지역 관점에서는 지역경제 활성화 수단으로써 활용되고 있다. 다수의 지방자치단체에서 산업단지 유치를 경쟁적으로 추진하는 한편, 미분양 면적 또한 지속해서 발생하고 있어 수요맞춤형 산업단지 공급으로 전환이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 적기의 산업단지 공급을 위한 기업 수요 발굴의 효율성을 도모하고자 신규 산업단지에 입주한 기업을 대상으로 산업단지 투자 규모 결정요인을 분석하였다. 특히, 산업단지 입주기업의 기존 입지와 관련된 특성은 산업단지 조성 간 차별적인 영향 요소로 인식되는바, 역내·외 기업 구분에 따라 산업단지 투자 규모에 영향을 미치는 요인의 차이를 추가로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 역내·외 기업 간 투자 패턴 차이를 발견하였으며, 특히 기업의 입지 특성, 자산규모, 근로자 수가 유의미한 변수로 도출되었다. 이를 통해 본 연구는 역내·외 기업의 상이한 투자 규모 결정요인을 고려하여 산업단지 조성 및 운영 간 기업의 입지 특성을 고려한 맞춤형 접근이 필요함을 강조한다

영문 초록

Industrial complexes are specially developed areas for concentrating industrial activities and fostering industrial production facilities. These have played a pivotal role in national economic growth and industrial development and have been utilized to invigorate local economies. With numerous local governments competitively pursuing the attraction of industrial complexes, the issue of unsold areas has persistently arisen, leading to a need for the supply of demand-tailored complexes. In this study, we analyzed the determinants of investment scale for firms in new industrial complex, aiming to enhance the efficiency in uncovering firm demand for the timely supply of complexes. Notably, characteristics related to the locations of the firms were recognized as differential influential factors, leading to additional analysis of how these factors vary between local and non-local firms in terms of their impact on the investment scale in the complexes. The findings revealed significant differences in the investment patterns between these firms, particularly location characteristics, assets, and employees as substantial variables. This study highlights the need for a tailored approach to creating and managing industrial complexes, considering the distinct investment determinants of local and non-local firms.
