국문 초록

이 연구는 초･중･고등학교 과정의 장애학생을 대상으로 인공지능 기술을 활용한 교수･학습활동을 진행한 특수교사의 경험을 살펴보는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 실제 특수교육 현장에서 관련 교육활동을 실시한 6명의 현직 특수교사를 대상으로 인공지능 기술 기반 수업을 어떻게 진행하고 있으며, 그 교육적 효과성 및 개선사항에 대하여 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 체계적인 비교분석을 통해 면담 자료를 분석한 결과 3개의 주제와 6개의 하위주제 그리고 18개의 개념이 도출되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 연구참여자들은 특수교육 현장에서 교수･학습활동을 위해 인공지능 기술을 활용하게 된 계기가 있었다. 둘째, 연구참여자들은 특수교육 현장 내 인공지능 기술 활용 교육의 가능성과 장애학생 교육에 미치는 긍정적인 효과를 높게 평가하였다. 셋째, 연구참여자들은 특수교육 현장에서의 인공지능 기술 활용 교육 시 겪게 되는 한계점이 존재하며, 이와 관련한 개선 방안에 대한 의견을 제안하였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 변화하는 시대에 따른 특수교육 현장의 효과적인 인공지능 기술 활용 방안에 대하여 논의하였다. 그리고 이 연구에서 도출한 내용에 대한 다각적인 실증 연구와 구체적인 교수･학습 프로그램 개발 및 효과성 연구가 필요함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the experiences of special teachers who conducted teaching and learning activities using artificial intelligence technology for students with disabilities in elementary, middle, and high school courses. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted on how artificial intelligence technology-based classes were conducted with six incumbent special teachers who conducted related educational activities in the actual special education field, as well as on their educational effectiveness and improvements. As a result of analyzing the interview data through systematic comparative analysis, 3 topics, 6 sub-themes, and 18 concepts were derived. As a result of the study, first, the research participants said that there was an opportunity to use artificial intelligence technology for teaching and learning activities in special education. Second, the research participants highly appreciated the possibility of education using artificial intelligence technology in the special education field as well as the positive effect it on the education of students with disabilities. Third, the research participants noted the limitations they experienced when teaching while using artificial intelligence technology in the special education field and suggested opinions on how to improve the use of existing artificial intelligence technology in the special education field. Based on these research results, effective ways to utilize artificial intelligence technology in the special education field in accordance to the changing times were discussed. In addition, it was suggested that various empirical studies on the contents derived from this study, as well as the development and effectiveness of specific teaching and learning programs, are necessary.
