국문 초록

본 연구는 한국과 중국이 정식 수교한 1992년부터 오늘에 이르는 지난 삼 십여 년간 이어온 양국 동시대 미술 교류의 경향을 시기별로 나누어 분석하고, 앞으로 교류의 방향성을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 역사 속에서 긴 시간을 교류해 온 한·중 양국은 1949년 중국 인민공화국(이하 중국) 수립 이후 서로 다른 이데올로기와 체제를 선택하며, 근 반세기 동안 공식적 차원의 교류가 이뤄지지 못했다. 그러다 1992년 냉전 종식 분위기에 힘입어 체결한 한·중 수교를 계기로 만남이 재개되었고, 지난 삼십 여 년 간 다양한 채널을 통한 정부 및 민간 차원의 교류를 지속해 왔다. 본 고에서는 여러 경로를 통해 진행돼 온 한·중간 미술교류를 ‘세계화’ 조류 속의 교류 (1992년~2003년), ‘시장’을 동력 삼은 교류 (2004년~2008년), 다변화ㆍ다원화된 시대 속의 교류 (2009년~현재) 세 시기로 나누어 교류의 경향과 그 배경을 분석한다.

영문 초록

This study analyzes trends in art exchange between Korea and China during the same periods over the past thirty years from 1992, when Korea and China officially established diplomatic relations by categorizing into periods, and it aims to explore the direction of future exchanges. The two countries have been interacting with each other for a long time throughout history, and different ideologies and systems were chosen after the establishment of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as China) in 1949 which led to failure of exchanges at the official level occurrence for nearly half a century. In 1992, with the establishment of diplomatic relations between Korea and China, along with the end of the Cold War, meetings resumed. Over the past thirty years, exchanges have continued at the government and private levels through various channels. In this paper, the art exchanges between Korea and China, which have been carried out through various channels, are divided into exchanges within the trend of 'globalization' (1992~2003), exchanges driven by the 'market' (2004~2008), and exchanges in a diversified and diversified era (2009~present). In addition, the trends and backgrounds of the exchanges are analyzed.
