치환적분의 서술방식에 대한 한국과 미국 교과서 비교 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 치환적분에 대한 우리나라와 미국 교과서의 서술방식을 분석함으로써 교과서 집필 및 교수학습을 위한 시사점을얻고자 하였다. 이를 위해 우리나라 2015 개정 교육과정의 미적분 교과서 8종과 미국 교과서 2종에 대해, 첫째, 전반적 구조의특징 둘째, 단원의 구성 요소들 사이의 연계성 셋째, 정리와 문제해결의 논증 구조의 수용가능성 관점에 따라 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 우리나라 일부 교과서의 치환적분 단원에 제시된 두 가지 정리의 역할과 차이점을 좀 더 명시적으로 안내할 필요가있으며, 이 두 개의 정리를 어떤 순서로 제시하는 것이 교육적으로 효과적인지에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요하였다. 둘째, 치환적분단원의 구성 요소 사이의 연계성을 더욱 드러내는 서술방식을 사용할 필요가 있었다. 셋째,  에 대한 우리나라의 기호사용및 미국의 differential로서 보는 관점 사이의 교육적 효과에 대해 알아보는 후속 연구가 필요하다. 연구의 결과는 2022 개정 교육과정에 따른 교과서의 치환적분 단원 집필 및 교수학습에 시사점을 제공한다.

영문 초록

This study sought to obtain implications for textbook writing and actual teaching and learning by analyzing the description methods of Korean and American textbooks on integration by substitution. Therefore, 8 types of calculus textbooks in Korea's 2015 revised curriculum and 2 types of American textbooks were analyzed according to the following perspectives: first, the characteristics of the overall structure, second, the connection between the components of the unit, and third, the acceptability of argument structure for theorem and problem solving. As a result of the study, first, there is a need to provide more explicit guidance on the roles and differences between the two theorems presented in the integration by substitution section of some Korean textbooks, and additional research was needed to determine in what order presenting these two theorems would be educationally effective. Second, there was a need to use a descriptive method that further revealed the connections between the components of the integration by substitution unit. Third, follow-up research is needed to investigate the educational effect between Korea's use of symbols for dx and dy and the American textbooks' view of them as differentials. The results of the study provide implications for writing, teaching and learning the integrals by substitution section of the textbook for the 2022 revised curriculum.
