초등학교 수학과 교육과정 도형 영역의 교수학적 의도와 실행에 관한 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2015 개정 초등학교 수학과 도형 영역에 대해 교육과정과 교과서에 담긴 교수학적 의도를 분석하고교, 수학습을통한 교수학적 실행 과정에서 어려움을 겪을 수 있을 것으로 보이는 내용에 대해 비판적으로 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2015 개정 교육과정과 교육과정의 교수학적 의도를 구현한 검정 교과서를 연계하여 분석하고교, 육과정과 교과서를기반으로 교사가 개발한 학생 평가 문항에 나타난 교수학적 의도의 반영 실태를 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 교육과정에서 사용되는용어의 정의 방식이나 개념 제시 순서로 인해 교수학습 과정에서 교수학적 의도가 학생들에게 적절하게 전달되기 어려운 경우가있었으며, 교과서에 제시되어 있으나 교육과정에서 드러나지 않은 교수학습 내용이 있었다. 또한 도형 영역에서 다루는 정의와성질에 대해 교과서마다 제시 방식에 차이가 있는 경우가 있음을 확인하였다. 더불어 교사가 개발한 문항에서 교육과정에 담긴교수학적 의도가 적절하게 반영되지 못한 사례가 나타났는데, 이중 일부는 교과서나 지도서에서 제시된 내용으로 인해 교사가교육과정의 의도를 오해석할 수 있는 가능성이 있을 수 있음을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the pedagogical intentions contained in the shape area of the 2015 revised elementary mathematics curriculum and textbooks and to critically examine the contents that may be difficult in the pedagogical implementation process through teaching and learning. The 2015 revised curriculum and authorized textbooks that embody the pedagogical intentions of the curriculum were analyzed, and the knowledge of teachers in the evaluation items developed by teachers based on the curriculum and textbooks was examined. As a result of the study, there were cases where it was difficult to properly convey pedagogical intentions to students in the teaching and learning process due to the definition of terms used in the curriculum or the order in which concepts were presented, and there were teaching and learning contents presented in textbooks but not revealed in the curriculum. In addition, there were cases where there were differences in the presentation method for each textbook regarding the definition and properties covered in the shape area. In addition, there were cases where teachers inappropriately interpreted the pedagogical intent contained in the curriculum, and it was confirmed that in some of these cases, there was a possibility that the intent of the curriculum could be misinterpreted due to the contents presented in textbooks or teacher’s guide.
