국문 초록

대일항쟁기 독립운동가들은 단재 신채호를 시작으로 단군조선의 국통을 부여국이 계승했다는 부여정통론을 내세웠다. ‘단군-부여-고구려-발해’로 이어지는 역사체계는 기존의 ‘단군-기자-위만’의 삼조선 체계나 ‘기자-마한-신라’로 이어지는 삼한정통론과는 다른 것이었다. 독립운동가들의 북방 중심 역사체계에 대해서 학계는 당시 시대 상황이 반영된 단군 민족주의 역사관으로 보고 있지만, 1900년대 초반부터 ‘기자를 피해 단군의 후손이 (북)부여로 천도하여 단군을 계승했다’는 복선적 체계가 자리잡고 있었다. 이것은 중국 문헌이나 기존의 고대사 계보와는 다른 것으로 그 역사적 근거가 어디에 있었는지에 대한 연구가 미흡했다. 본 연구는 우리사서에 남아있는 고유 사서의 기록을 살펴보면서 고려 초기에 편찬된 『구삼국사』의 역사체계와 다르지 않다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 부여와 고구려의 단군 계승의식을 확인할 수 있는 자료들을 검토하였다.

영문 초록

Starting with ShinChaeho(申采浩), Japanese colonial era independence activists put forward the Buyeo legitimism that Buyeo inherited the state affairs of Dan-gun-joseon. The genealogy of a dynasty leading to ‘Dan-gun→Buyeo→Goguryo→Balhae’ was different from the Sam-joseon genealogy leading to ‘Dan-gun→Gwija→Wi-man’ or the Sam-han legitimism leading to ‘Gija→Mahan→Silla’. Academia view the northern-centered history genealogy of independence activists as a view of Dan-gun nationalist history reflecting the situation of the time, but since the early 1900s, there has been a double-track system in which Dan-gun's descendants led to (North)Buyeo to succeed Dan-gun. This is different from Chinese literature or existing ancient history genealogy, and research on where the historical basis was insufficient. This study confirmed that it was not different from the historical genealogy of the Old Three Kingdoms compiled in the early Goryeo Dynasty by examining the records of the unique historical books remaining in our history books. In addition, data confirming Buyeo and Goguryeo's consciousness of Dan-gun succession were reviewed.
