국문 초록

본 연구는 사회복지 실천에 있어서 영성 지향 실천의 의미를 확인하기 위하여 영성의 개념 및 정의 영성 지향 실천의 모델과 구조를 탐색하였다. 사회복지 실천 과정이 단순히 클라이언트의 문제나 증상의 해결에 초점을 두는 것에서 인간의 완전성, 전체성을 회복하도록 도와준다면 영성에 대한 개입은 인간의 본질적인 측면에 대한 개입이다. 영성은 개개인의 개인 및 사회적 관계망 내부에 존재하면서 삶의 의미, 목적 그리고 죽음의 의미를 추구하기 위해 노력하는 인간적 부분이다. 탐색 결과 영성 지향 사회복지 실천은 사회복지 실천의 본질적인 하나의 요소이며 전인적이고 통합적이며 근복적인 문제해결을 위한 필수요소로 재논의될 필요가 있음이 확인되었다. 이러한 고찰을 통해 영성 지향사회복지 실천의 접목이 인간에 대한 전인격적인 이해를 토대로 한 개인의 삶의 질을 향상 시킬 수 있다는 점은 연구의 의의라 할 수 있다. 그러나 실천에 있어서 영성적 개입이 구체적으로 어떻게 실천에 접목되어야 하는지에 대한 구체적인 모델 개발은 이루어지지 못한 한계를 갖는다. 따라서 향후 연구에서는 영성지향 실천의 모델을 개발할 수 있는 연구들이 나올 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study explored the concept and definition of spirituality, the model and structure of spirituality-oriented practice in order to confirm the meaning of spirituality-oriented practice in social welfare practice. If the social welfare practice process helps restore human perfection and wholeness by simply focusing on solving clients' problems or symptoms, intervention in spirituality is an intervention in the essential aspects of human beings. Spirituality is the human part that exists within each individual's personal and social network and strives to pursue meaning and purpose in life and meaning in death. As a result of the exploration, spirituality-oriented practice was found to be consistent with the basic concept of social welfare practice. Through these considerations, the significance of the study can be said to be that incorporating spirituality-oriented practice can improve the quality of an individual's life based on a holistic understanding of humans. However, there is a limitation in that the development of a specific model on how spiritual intervention should be incorporated into practice has not been achieved. Therefore, it is expected that future research will produce studies that can develop a model of spirituality-oriented practice.
