국문 초록

중국의 한국드라마 연구는 한국 드라마의 대중적 인기에 힘입어 시작되었다. 한중 양국의 정치외교 갈등으로 인해 양적 감소가 있었으나 한국드라마에 대한 관심과 학술적 연구는 지속되어 왔다. 이 연구는 한류 연구의 한 축으로 본 중국의 한국드라마 연구 담론에 대한 보완적 성격을 가지며 최근의 중국 학술 담론의 변화와 동향을 고찰해 보고자 한다. 중국 최대 학술문헌 아카이브 知網(CNKI)에서 핵심 학술지를 대상으로 ‘한국드라마(韓劇)’을 키워드로 학술문헌 총 149편을 수집하여 논문초록을 텍스트 마이닝과 네트워크 분석한 결과, 1단계 2013~2016년 기간 중국 연구자는 한국드라마 <별에서 온 그대>, <태양의 후예> 등 중국사회에서 인기 있었던 한국드라마의 성공 요인을 분석하는 학술 담론이주를 이루었다. 특히 한국 드라마를 매개로 한국의 문화산업 발전 전략, 세계 대중문화에의 영향을 ‘문화수출’의 관점에서 분석하고 중국 문화산업에 참고할 것을 주문하는 연구가 많았다. 중국 시청자가 한국드라마를좋아하는 원인 분석에서 한국드라마 텍스트가 지닌 서사적 특징, 영상 편집을 유미주의(唯美主義) 경향으로 보고, 이를 중국드라마 발전에 활용 방안을 제언하는 연구가 주를 이루었다. 2단계 2017~2023년에는 <오징어게임>의 글로벌 대유행에 주목하고 그 원인이 넷플릭스와 같은 글로벌 플랫폼의 활용에 있다고 인식하면서 한국드라마를 매개로 주로 미디어 플랫폼을 둘러싼 매체 효과와 전략에 관한 학술 담론이 등장하였다. 또한 중국 드라마의 해외진출, 한국을 사례로 드라마를 통한 국가 소프트파워 증진에 인터넷과 미디어를 활용하는 정책 시행을 제언하는 실용적 담론이 많았다. 주목할 만한 점은2013~2023년 기간 동안 중국 연구자는 한국드라마가 중국에서 대중화되면서 시청자 특히 여성, 대학생의 가치관 형성에 미치는 영향력을 분석하는 수용자 연구 담론이 증가 추세하고 있는 것이다.

영문 초록

Research on Korean dramas in Chinese academia began thanks to the popularity of Korean dramas. Although there has been a quantitative decline due to political and diplomatic conflicts between Korea and China, academic research and perspectives on Korean dramas have continued. This study has a complementary nature to the existing meta-analysis of Korean drama research discourse in Chinese academia and seeks to examine recent changes and trends in academic discourse. It is no exaggeration to say that the beginning of the Korean Wave in China originated from ‘Korean dramas.’ Chinese viewers have experienced changes in Korean dramas for a long time, and Korean dramas are currently recognized as the most interesting dramas in China. As a result of text mining and network analysis of the abstracts, a total of 149 academic papers were collected using the keyword 'Korean drama' from key academic journals at CNKI, China's largest academic literature archive, from 2013 to 2016 in the first stage. During this period, Chinese researchers paid attention to the popularity of Korean dramas in Chinese society, such as and , and mainly conducted academic discourse analyzing the factors of their success. In particular, there have been many studies analyzing the development of the Korean cultural industry through Korean dramas and the influence of world popular culture from the perspective of ‘cultural export’ and calling for reference to the Chinese cultural industry. In analyzing the reasons why Chinese viewers like Korean dramas, research that suggests a direction for the development of Chinese dramas is mainly based on the romance of Korean drama texts, the narrative composition reflecting real-life subjects, and sophisticated video editing, which are seen as aesthetic tendencies. achieved. In the second stage, from 2017 to 2023, attention was paid to the global pandemic of and the cause was recognized as the use of global platforms such as Netflix, and academic discourse emerged mainly on media effects and strategies surrounding media platforms. In addition, there was a lot of practical discourse suggesting the implementation of policies that utilize the Internet and media to expand Chinese dramas overseas and promote national soft power through dramas using Korea as an example. What is noteworthy is that between 2013 and 2023, as Korean dramas became popular in China, Chinese researchers began to engage in audience research discourse that analyzed the influence on the formation of values of viewers, especially women and college students.
