기독교 다문화 교육의 실태와 방향

국문 초록

21세기로 들어오면서 결혼 이주자, 외국인 노동자, 외국인 유학생, 새터민 등 다문화인의 국내 유입의 증가로 인하여 우리 사회는 다문화 사회로 변화되어 가고 있다. 이러한 사회변화에 한국 교회와 기독교 단체는 기독교 다문화 교육에 관심을 가져야 한다. 본 연구의 목적은 기독교 교육의 관점에서 다문화 교육의 방향을 설정하고자 하는 것이다. 본 연구의 내용은 첫째, 기독교 다문화교육의 개념을 분석하기 위해 먼저, 다문화교육의 개념을 살펴보고, 이어서 기독교 다문화교육의 개념을 분석하였다. 둘째, 기독교 다문화 교육의 실태를 분석하기 위해, 정부 지원 형태의 기독교 다문화 교육의 실태와 기독교 단체 및 교회의 재정 지원 형태의 기독교 다문화 교육 실태하고, 기독교 다문화교육 실태에 대한 논의를 하였다. 셋째, 기독교 다문화 교육의 방향을 다문화인을 위한 신앙공동체 교육, 다문화인을 위한 환대교육, 다문화인을 위한 사회통합 교육, 다문화인을 위한 차별금지 교육, 다문화인 위한 평화교육, 다문화인을 위한 다문화 감수성 교육으로 나누어 설명하였다. 본 연구의 결과는, 첫째, 다문화인을 위한 신앙공동체 교육으로 한국교회와 기독교 단체는 다문화인에 대한 편견과 차별성을 버리고, 예수 그리스도의 복음을 공유하고 나누고 전파하는 신앙공동체를 다문화인들과 함께 만들어 나아가야 한다. 둘째, 다문화인을 위한 환대교육을 위해 한국교회와 기독교 단체는 편견과 차별을 당하는 수많은 다문화인을 환대하기 위한 예배, 교육, 섬김, 봉사 등의 활동을 해야 한다. 셋째, 다문화인을 위한 사회통합 교육은 다문화인과 더불어 하나님의 인성을 회복하는 교육을 통해서 이루어질 수 있다. 넷째, 다문화인을 위한 차별금지 교육은 다문화인들에 대한 편견과 차별, 이들에 대한 혐오감을 예수 그리스도의 사랑을 통해서 극복하고 공존하는 삶을 모색하도록 도와주어야 한다. 다섯째, 다문화인 위한 기독교 평화교육은 평화 감수성, 비폭력적 의사소통을 강화시키고, 평화적 상상력을 증진하는 교육이 이루어져야 한다. 여섯째, 기독교 다문화 감수성 교육은 다문화 사회에 유입된 소수자의 인권 보호와 지원, 그리고 사회적 통합을 위해, 문화적 고정 관념과 편견에서 벗어나 신앙적 관점에서 다양한 문화에 대한 긍정적인 태도를 갖도록 해야 한다.

영문 초록

Entering the 21st century, our society is changing into a multicultural society due to the increase in the influx of multicultural people such as marriage immigrants, foreign workers, foreign students, and North Korean defectors. In response to these social changes, Korean churches and Christian organizations must pay attention to Christian multicultural education. The contents of this study are, first, to analyze the concept of Christian multicultural education, and then to analyze the concept of Christian multicultural education. Second, in order to analyze the current state of Christian multicultural education, the current state of Christian multicultural education in the form of government support and the state of Christian multicultural education in the form of financial support from Christian organizations and churches were discussed, and the current state of Christian multicultural education was discussed. Third, the direction of Christian multicultural education is faith community education for multicultural people, hospitality education for multicultural people, social integration education for multicultural people, anti-discrimination education for multicultural people, peace education for multicultural people, and multiculturalism for multicultural people. It was explained by dividing it into sensitivity education. The results of this study are: First, through faith community education for multicultural people, Korean churches and Christian organizations must abandon prejudice and discrimination against multicultural people and establish a faith community with multicultural people that shares, shares, and spreads the gospel of Jesus Christ. We must create and move forward. Second, in order to provide hospitality education for multicultural people, Korean churches and Christian organizations must engage in activities such as worship, education, service, and service to welcome the numerous multicultural people who suffer prejudice and discrimination. Third, social integration education for multicultural people can be achieved through education that restores God's humanity together with multicultural people. Fourth, anti-discrimination education for multicultural people should help them overcome prejudice, discrimination, and hatred toward multicultural people through the love of Jesus Christ and seek a life of coexistence. Fifth, Christian peace education for multicultural people should strengthen peace sensitivity, non-violent communication, and promote peaceful imagination. Sixth, Christian multicultural sensitivity education should enable people to break away from cultural stereotypes and prejudices and develop positive attitudes toward diverse cultures from a religious perspective in order to protect and support the human rights of minorities introduced into a multicultural society and achieve social integration.
