국문 초록

이 논문의 목적은 칸트의 초기 자연철학에서 신의 개념을 구명하는 데 있다. 지금까지 칸트 철학의 연구는 『순수이성비판』, 『실천이성비판』, 『판단력비판』 등 비판기의 저작을 중심으로 집중되어왔다. 특히 신의 개념과 신의 존재 증명에 관한 문제와 관련해서는 위의 비판서와 『순수이성의 한계 안에서 종교』에서 주로 연구되어왔다. 그렇다면 칸트 철학에서 신에 관한 문제는 언제부터 어떻게 논의되었는가? 비판기 이전이나 이후에는 논의된 바가 없는가? 있다면 언제부터 왜? 어떻게 논의가 시작되었는가? 그리고 그러한 논의는 칸트의 형이상학 재정립과 선험철학에 어떤 영향으로 자리매김하는가? 이러한 물음의 해명은 ｢칸트의 초기 자연철학에서 신의 개념 연구｣의 탐구 과정에서 드러날 것이다. 비판기 이전 초기에 칸트가 신의 개념을 추론하는 데 결정적인 영향을 끼쳤던 배경은 무엇인가? 그것은 경건주의 신앙과 자연과학의 급속한 발전, 그리고 경험론과 합리론의 대두였다. 특히 물리학 연구는 뉴턴(I. Newton)의 기계적 물리학의 직접적인 영향을 받았으며, 형이상학 연구는 라이프니츠(Leibniz)와 볼프(C. Wolff)의 합리주의 이론에서 영향을 받았다. 칸트의 초기 철학에서 신의 개념을 탐구하고자 하는 저작은 ｢살아 있는 힘의 측정｣, ｢일반 자연사｣, ｢새로운 해명｣, ｢신 현존 증명｣ 등이다. ｢살아 있는 힘의 측정｣에서는 신이라는 용어 자체도 언급되지 않는다. 그러나 자연의 아름다움과 질서정연한 자연법칙의 원인을 신에게서 찾으려고 소묘한다. ｢일반 자연사｣에서도 천체이론을 뉴턴의 원칙에 따라 다룬 우주 전체의 구조와 기계적 기원을 신으로 추론한다. ｢새로운 해명｣에서는 형이상학적 인식의 제1원리를 신에서 찾는다. 그리고 ｢신 현존 증명｣에서는 신의 현존을 입증하기 위한 유일하게 가능한 증명 근거를 제시하면서 절대적으로 필연적인 것이 실존한다고 주장한다. 그것은 본질에서 유일하고 실체에서 단순하며, 본성에서 정신이고 지속에서 영원하며, 성질에서 불변하고, 모든 가능적인 것과 현실적인 것을 완전하게 충족한다. 그것은 신이라고 주장한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the concept of God in Kant's early natural philosophy. Until now, Kant's philosophy has focused on critical works such as 『Kritik der reinen Vernunft』, 『Kritik der praktischen Vernunft』, 『Kritik der Urteilskraft』. In particular, in relation to the concept of God and the problem of proving the existence of God, it has been mainly studied of the above criticisms and 『Die Religion innerhalb der Grenzen der bloßen Vernunft』. Then, since when and how was the issue of God discussed in Kantian philosophy? Hasn't there been any discussion before or after the criticism period? When did you start? How did the discussion begin? And how does such discussion establish itself in Kant's metaphysical re-establishment and transcendental philosophy? The elucidation of these questions will be revealed in during the exploration 『Kant's early natural philosophy of the study of the concept of God』. What was the background behind Kant's decisive influence in inferring the concept of God in the early days before the critical period? It was the rise of pious faith, the rapid development of natural science, and empiricism and rationalism. In particular, the study of physics was directly influenced by Newton's mechanical physics, and the study of metaphysics was influenced by Leibniz and C. Wolff's rationalist theories. Works that seek to explore the concept of God in Kant's early philosophy include ｢Measurement of Living Power｣, ｢General Natural History｣, ｢New Explanation｣, and ｢Proof of God Existence｣. The term God itself is not mentioned in the ｢Measurement of Living Power｣. However, it is described in order to find the cause of the natural beauty and orderly laws of nature in God. Even in ｢general natural history｣, the structure and mechanical origin of the entire universe, which dealt with celestial theory according to Newton's principles, are inferred as gods. In a ｢new explanation｣, God finds the first principle of metaphysical perception. In addition, the ｢Proof of God's Existence｣ suggests the only possible proof to prove God's existence and argues that something absolutely inevitable exists. It is unique in nature and simple in substance, spirit in nature and eternal in continuity, immutable in nature, completely fulfilling all possible and realistic. It claims to be God.
