대학교 학생상담기관 자살 위기 개입에 관한 연구 동향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학교 학생상담기관의 재학생 자살 위기 대응 관련 국내 학술지 총 88편의 연구를 탐색하고 추후 개선할 부분을 논의하고자 하였다. 대학 학생상담기관의 자살 위기 개입에 대한 논의를 구성하기 위해 연구 방법, 연구 주제 및 위기 개입 시기별 접근을 구분하여 연구를 분류하여 동향을 파악하였다. 연구 결과, 자살행동에 영향을 미칠 수 있는 요인들을 확인하고 이를 예방교육과 관련짓는 연구가 다수 확인되었고, 위기 개입 및 사후 관리와 관련된 연구가 소수 있었으나 양적 및 질적으로 추가될 필요가 있음을 확인하였다. 결과를 통해 도출된 논의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구를 통해 자살 개입 연구의 양적인 확대는 확인할 수 있었지만, 질적 개선 노력이 필요하다. 둘째, 대학교 자살위기 대응 체계를 구축하기 위해 좀 더 적극적 논의가 필요하다. 예를 들어, 학내 부서간 협력을 도울 수 있는 규정 또는 매뉴얼 제작이 필요하며 이를 지속 관리할 수 있는 정규 인력 보완이 필요하다. 셋째, 대학 내 자살 위기 대응을 전문적으로 하기 위한 상담자 교육의 질적인 변화-체계적인 자살 등 위기 대응 전문가 양성 교육, 교육 내용의 다양화 및 자살 위기대응 모형 마련 등 -가 필요하다. 마지막으로 대학교 학생상담기관의 자살 대응 위기 상담을 지원할 수 있는 행정 및 제도적 변화를 통해 전문서비스 절차의 체계화를 이룰 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

In this study, a total of 88 studies in domestic academic journals related to suicide crisis response by university student counseling organizations were explored. The results were intended to discuss ways to improve the university counseling center's services. In order to organize a discussion on suicide crisis intervention at university student counseling organizations, studies were classified and trends were identified by distinguishing approaches by research method, research topic, and crisis intervention period. The results of the study confirmed that many studies were conducted to identify factors affecting suicidal behavior and relate them to prevention education, but it was confirmed that more research related to crisis intervention and follow-up management is needed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The discussion derived from the results is as follows. First, although this study confirmed the quantitative expansion of suicide prevention education, efforts to improve quality are needed. Second, it is necessary to cooperate between departments within the university to establish a university suicide crisis response system. Third, there is a need for qualitative changes in counselor education to professionalize suicide crisis response within universities - systematic expert training, diversification of training content, and establishment of a suicide crisis response model. Lastly, administrative and institutional changes are needed to support suicide response crisis counseling at university student counseling organizations.
