중국 내 알츠하이머병 노인의 긍정적 정서 지원을 위한 노래 중심 비대면 음악 중재 적용 사례

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 중국 내 알츠하이머병 노인이 긍정적 정서 지원을 위한 노래 중심 비대면 음악 중재를 통해 정서적으로 어떠한 변화가 있었는지 알아보는 것이다. 참여자는 중국 S병원에 입원한 알츠하이머병 2기 진단을 받은, 발병 기간 4년 이내의 경미한 우울 수준을 보이는 평균 70세인 3명이다. 이들에게 Zoom 플랫폼을 이용하여 2022년 3월부터 6월까지 총 12회의 노래 중심의 음악 중재를 그룹으로 시행하였다. 참여자들의 음악 중재 경험 전 과정을 통해 수집된 영상과 음악 데이터를 통해 참여자의 개별적 변화를 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 종합적 분석을 통해 참여자들의 공통된 경험을 도출하였다. 그 결과, 긍정적 주제의 노래 중심 음악 중재 과정에서 참여자들의 우울감과 외로움 등의 부정적 정서가 긍정적으로 변화되는 모습이 개별적 분석을 통해 나타났다. 또한 종합적 분석을 통해 비대면 실시간 음악 중재 과정에서 참여동기 유발, 긍정적 정서 유발, 비대면 활동의 장단점에 대한 3가지 핵심 주제와 11개의 하위주제가 분석되었다. 따라서 본 연구는 우울 정서가 있는 중국 내 알츠하이머병 노인의 긍정적 정서 지원을 위한 노래 중심 비대면 음악 중재의 임상적 가능성을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study investigated how the elderly with Alzheimer’s disease positively changed their emotions after experiencing song-centered telehealth music intervention. 3 participants of this study were diagnosed with stage 2 Alzheimer’s disease within 4 years of onset with mild symptoms of depression. The average age of the participants was 70, and they were being admitted to the S hospital in China. 12 group sessions with song-centered telehealth music Intervention were provided to the patients using the Zoom platform from March to June 2022. The data of video and music collected from the all process of participants were analyzed individually and comprehensively. As results, negative emotions such as depression and loneliness positively were changed through telehealth music intervention with songs of positive theme in the individual case analysis. Furthermore, 3 main themes and 11 sub-themes regarding motivation for participation, inducing positive emotions, and the pros and cons of telehealth music intervention were analyzed in the comprehensive case analysis. Therefore, this study suggested the clinical possibilities of an emotionally supportive telehealth music intervention for elders with Alzheimer’s in China.
