국문 초록

수학적 주목하기란 교사가 수학 수업에서 일어나는 여러 현상 중 의미 있는 현상을 알아차리고 이를 적절히 해석하는 능력을 의미하며, 최근 수학교육 분야에서 교사 전문성의 한 요소로 인정받고 있다. 본 연구는 예비 중등수학교사들의 수학적 주목하기를 비교하여 차이를 확인하고, 이들 간의 차이 발생 요인을 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 본 연구자는 예비 중등교사의 수학적 주목하기를 확인할 수 있는 수업비평문을 마련하였으며, 예비 중등수학교사 18명을 대상으로 각자 모의 수업을 실연하고 이를 녹화한 동영상을 보면서 수업비평문을 작성하도록 하였다. 수업비평문에 나타난 예비교사의 수학적 주목하기를 주체, 주제, 견지의 세 차원에서 분석한 결과, 주제 차원과 견지 차원에서 예비교사들 간에 수학적 주목하기의 차이가 발생한 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 예비교사들 간에 수학적 주목하기의 차이가 발생한 요인을 살펴본 결과, 이는 교사가 보유한 수학 내용 지식, 교수학적 내용 지식, 교육과정 지식, 신념, 경험, 목표, 실천적 지식으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Recently, in the field of mathematics education, mathematical noticing has been considered as an important element of teacher expertise. The meaning of mathematical noticing is the ability of teachers to notice and interpret significant events among various events that occur in mathematics class. This study attempts to analyze the differences of pre-service secondary teachers’ mathematical noticing and confirm the factors that cause the differences between them. To accomplish this, the items on class critiques were established to identify pre-service secondary school teachers’ mathematical noticing, and each of 18 pre-service secondary mathematics teachers were required to write a class critique by watching a video in which their micro-teaching was recorded. it was that the teachers’ mathematical noticing be identified by analyzing their class critiques in three dimensions such as actor, topic, and stance. As a result, there were differences in mathematical noticing between pre-service secondary mathematical teachers in terms of topic and stance dimensions. Based on the result, the difference factors were occurred in the teachers on the mathematical noticing, and namely those factors were subject matter knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, curricular knowledge, beliefs, experiences, goals, and practical knowledge.
