국문 초록

<강릉매화타령>의 주인공인 골생원은 외양과 행동 모두 비속한 것으로 묘사된다. 특히 매화의 성을 탐닉하는 것으로 골생원의 모습은 비속화된다. 골생원은 자신의 욕망에 충실하며, 욕망의 충족을 위해 비속함도 마다하지 않기에 교정이 필요하다. 그러나 골생원은 귀신 장난 이후에도 비속한 행동을 멈추지 않으며, 경포대에서 알몸으로 온갖 추태를 부리다가 망신을 당한다. <강릉매화타령>의 귀신 장난은 골생원의 비속함을 외부로 폭로하는 수단이며, 골생원의 비속함이 얼마나 극단으로 치닫는지 보여준다. 비속한 골생원은 전형적인 희극의 주인공으로, 웃음을 유발한다. <강릉매화타령>은 오로지 말초적인 자극을 통해 웃음을 유발하려는 서사로 볼 수 있으며, 귀신 장난은 웃음을 극대화하는 장치로 활용되었다. 이 웃음을 통해 비속한 골생원이 문제가 있음을 드러내지만, 동시에 문제를 가리는 역할을 수행한다.

영문 초록

This article aims to examine the features of “Gangneung Maehwa Taryeong” based on the ghost trick of “Gangneung Maehwa Taryeong” and to understand the meaning of the work. Golsaengwon , the main character of “Gangneung Maehwa Taryeong,” is described as vulgar in both appearance and behavior. In particular, Golsaengwon is vulgarized because it indulges Maehwa's sex. Golsaengwon is faithful to his desires. He needs correction because he does not mind vulgarity to satisfy them. However, Golsaengwon never stops acting vulgarly after a ghost trick. He is disgraced by his many shameful acts in Gyeongpodae. The ghost trick in “Gangneung Maehwa Taryeong” is a means of revealing Golsaengwon's vulgarity to the outside world, and it shows the extremeness of Golsaengwon's vulgarity. The vulgar Golsaengwon is a typical comic character. He causeslaughter . “Gangneung Maehwa Taryeong” is a narrative that tries to instigate laughter only through peripheral stimuli. Ghost tricks were used as a tool to maximize laughter. Through this laughter, the vulgar Golsaengwon reveals that there is a problem, but it also plays the role in masking the problem.
