메타인지기반 바깥놀이 수학활동이 유아의 놀이몰입과 자기주도성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 메타인지기반 바깥놀이 수학활동이 유아의 놀이몰입과 자기주도성에 미치는 효과를 살펴보고자 하였으며, 주요 결과를 중심으로 논의를 하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 메타인기기반 바깥놀이 수학활동이 유아의 전체 놀이몰입과 놀이몰입 하위요인에 미치는 효과를 살펴보았다. 우선 통제집단과 실험집단을 사전과 사후로 구분하여 살펴본 결과, 전체 놀이집단과 하위요인 모두에서 사전점수보다는 사후점수 평균이 높게 나타났다. 또한 공변량분석을 실시하여 통제집단과 실험집단 간 차이를 살펴본 결과, 전체 놀이몰입과 하위요인(놀이도전, 놀이집중, 놀이조절, 목표와 과정, 동기와 정서, 시간감각) 모두에서 두 집단 간 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 메타인지기반 바깥놀이 수학활동이 유아의 자기주도성과 자기주도성 하위요인에 미치는 효과를 살펴보았다. 먼저 통제집단과 실험집단을 사전과 사후로 분류하여 살펴본 결과, 전체 자기주도성과 하위요인 모두에서 사전점수보다는 사후점수 평균이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 공변량분석을 실시하여 통제집단과 실험집단 간 차이를 확인한 결과, 전체 자기주도성과 하위요인(정서능력, 의사소통, 성취동기) 모두에서 두 집단 간 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 메타인지기반 바깥놀이 수학활동이 효과적이었음이 확인되었고, 유아의 놀이몰입과 자기주도성을 신장시키기 위해서는 교사들 스스로 메타인지에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 지식을 갖추고 유아들에게 메타인지 기술을 훈련시켜 나가도록 하는 것이 선행되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study examined the effects of metacognition-based outdoor play math activities on young children's play flow and self initiative. The main results are presented as follows. First, the effect of metacognition-based outdoor play math activities on the total play flow and sub-factors of play flow of young children was examined. As a result of dividing the comparison group and the experimental group into before and after, the post-score was higher than the pre-score in both the entire play group and sub-factors. In addition, as a result of examining the difference between the comparison group and the experimental group by conducting covariate analysis, it was found that there was a significant difference between the two groups in both total flow in play and sub-factors(play challenge, play concentration, play control, goal and process, motivation and emotion, and sense of time). Second, the effect of metacognitive-based outdoor play mathematical activities on infants' self-directed and self-directed sub-factors was examined. First of all, as a result of classifying the control group and the experimental group into pre- and post-mortem, it was found that the average of post-score was higher than the pre-score in both the overall self-directed and sub-factors. In addition, covariate analysis was conducted to confirm the difference between the control group and the experimental group, and it was confirmed that there was a significant difference between the two groups in both overall self-initiative and sub-factors (emotional ability, communication, and achievement motivation). Therefore, it has been confirmed that metacognition-based outdoor play mathematics activities were effective, and in order to enhance infants' play immersion and self-directedness, teachers themselves should recognize the importance of metacognition, have knowledge of the subject, and train infants with metacognitive skills.
