국문 초록

본고는 17세기 老論 계열 관료이자 문인인 文谷 金壽恒(1629～1689)의 文學論을 확인하는 것을 목표로 한다. 宋時烈과 함께 老論의 중심인물로서 정계의 중심에서 활동했던 문곡은 일찍부터 李昭漢과 李植에게 詩로 인정을 받았다. 또한 문곡의 ｢聽蛙說｣은 개인 내면의 가치를 긍정하는 단서가 담긴 작품으로 이후 노론 洛論系의 종장으로서 金昌協과 金昌翕이 주장했던 天機論의 바탕인 人物性同論과 맥이 닿는다. 개인의 내면 가치를 긍정한 문곡의 인식이 김창협과 김창흡이 주장했던 인물성동론에 영향을 주었고 그 결과 17세기 한시 경향의 변화에 영향을 주었을 것을 유추할 수 있다. 이런 점에서 문곡의 문학론에 대한 연구는 필수적이라고 할 수 있다. 문곡의 학문 형성에는 가학의 영향이 지대했다. 문곡의 학문 형성에 영향을 주었을 것으로 보이는 김상헌과 김상용의 학문 경향은 經書를 바탕으로 한 古文과 唐詩였는데, 문곡 역시 經書 학습과 古文과 唐詩를 익혔을 것임을 유추할 수 있다. 또한 주자학과 당시에 있어서도 가학의 영향을 받았다. 문곡은 자신의 문학론을 구체적으로 명시하지 않았다. 하지만 그가 남긴 자료을 통해 유추하면, 시론에 있어서는 朱子의 학시 전범에 영향을 받아 『詩經』과 韓魏古詩를 중시하였으며 性情의 자연스러운 표출을 중요하게 여겼다. 또한 문장에 있어서는 수식을 지양하고 주제를 중시하였는데 이는 성리학적 辭達의 영향을 받은 것으로 보인다. 碑誌文의 창작에 있어서 簡을 중시하는데 이는 가학을 통해 韓愈를 학습한 영향으로 보인다. 이밖에 특징으로 문곡은 前後七子와 唐宋古文에 공통적으로 영향을 받은 것으로 보이며, 한시에서 성정을 중시하는 점과 비지문에서 간을 중심에 두는 점은 가학의 전승의 측면에서 주의해서 따져볼 만한 지점이라고 여겨진다.

영문 초록

This paper aims to confirm the literary theory of Mungok, Kim Soo-hang (1629～1689), a Noron-affiliated official and writer in the 17th century. Mungok, along with Song Si-yeol, was active in the center of politics as a central figure of Noron, and from early on, was recognized by Lee So-han and Lee Sik as a poem. In addition, Mungok's ｢Cheongwa Seol｣ is a work that contains clues to affirming the internal value of an individual, and it is in line with the theory of Human and Animal’s Nature, which Kim Chang-hyeop and Kim Chang-heup argued as the head of the Noron Nakron world. It can be inferred that Mungok's perception of an individual's inner value influenced the of Human and Animal’s Nature theory claimed by Kim Chang-hyeop and Kim Chang-heup, and as a result, it influenced the change in the trend of Chinese poetry in the 17th century. In this respect, it can be said that research on literary theory of Mungok is essential. The influence of Family's scholarship was great on the academic formation of Mungok. The academic trends of Kim Sang-heon and Kim Sang-yong, who influenced the academic formation of Mungok, were Gosi and Classical Prose based on Gyeongseo, and it can be inferred that Mungok also learned it. It was also influenced by Family's scholarship in Neo-Confucian and Tang poetry. Mungok did not specify his literary theory. But that can be inferred from the data he left behind. In terms of poetry, influenced by Zhu Xi's poetry learning pattern, the Book of Odes and Hanwi Gosi were emphasized, and the natural expression of nature & emotion was important. In addition, in sentences, the rhetoric was denied and the theme was emphasized, which seems to have been influenced by Neo-Confucianism's Sadal. Simplicity is emphasized in the creation of epitaph, which seems to be the effect of learning Han Yu through family's scholarship. In addition, Mungok seems to have been influenced by the Former and Later Seven Master and the Prose of Tang(唐) and Song(宋) Dynasty. In addition, the emphasis on nature & emotion in Chinese poetry and simplicity in epitaph are considered to be points that can be considered in terms of the transmission of family's scholarship.
