국문 초록

도서섬지역 경제 활성화에 정부와 지자체가 많은 자원을 투자하고 있지만, 그 결과 대부분은국민 혈세만 낭비하여 비판의 목소리만 난무하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 도서섬지역 중 매우활용도가 매우 높지만 코로나19로 적자에 허덕이는 인천국제공항과 영종도 활성화를 위하여 영종도 내 인천국제공항을 e스포츠와 연계하여 활성화 요소가 무엇인지를 찾아서 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 지역을 활성화 하려면 우선 공항 주변의 교통환경과 여행할 수 있는 지리적 여건 그리고 여행을 하면서 비즈니스적인 요소가 여행과 함께 진행된다면 지역경제 활성화 성공함으로써 자연스럽게 공항과 영종도가 활성화될 것이다. 비즈니스적 요소로서 e스포츠를 활용하여 영종대에 게임대회를 유치하여 개최한다면 많은 게이머와 e스포츠대회를 위한 미디어시설 등 다양한 산업분야가 발전하여 인천국제공항 활용도가 높아져 서해안지역 경제에 많은 가치가 높아질 가능성이 크다. 즉, 영종도 내 카지노 등 장소를 활용한 e스포츠대회를 적극 유치하여 국내외 많은 젊은 게이머들이 왕래할 수 있도록 한다면 인천과 서해안지역 경제가 활성화되는데 e스포츠산업을 본 연구에서 대안으로 제시한다. 특히, 컴퓨터가 만들어진 이후 정보통신 기반 하에 4차 산업시대가 도래하면서 핵심기술인 인공지능 등의 융합기술로 컴퓨터게임이 산업 군으로 크게 성장하였다. e스포츠는 여가문화와 첨단문화의 확산으로 국내 뿐 만 아니라 세계적으로 성장가능성이 큰 분야로 인식되어 4차 산업혁명시대에 문화의 장으로 자리 잡았다. 이러한 e스포츠는 산업으로 성장하여 여러 분야에 활용되어 성공적인 모델로 다른 산업의 마케팅에 큰 영향을 미치고 있다. 해서 본 논문에서는 e스포츠를 정의하고 국내외 e스포츠의 현황을 정리하면서 e스포츠가 지역문화사회와 경제 등 발전에 기여할 수 있도록 인천국제공항과 영종도를 연계한 e스포츠수익모델을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Although the government and local governments are investing a lot of resources in revitalizing the island region's economy, most of them are only wasting people's taxpayer money, resulting in only voices of criticism. Therefore, in this paper, in order to revitalize Incheon International Airport and Yeongjong Island, which are very highly utilized among island regions, but suffer from deficit due to Corona 19, Incheon International Airport in Yeongjong Island is linked with e-sports to find out what the vitalization factors are and propose a plan. . To revitalize the region, first of all, if the transportation environment around the airport, the geographical conditions for travel, and business factors go along with travel, the airport and Yeongjong Island will naturally be revitalized by succeeding in revitalizing the local economy. If e-sports are used as a business factor to attract and hold game tournaments in Yeongjongdae, various industries such as media facilities for e-sports and many gamers will develop, increasing the utilization of Incheon International Airport, which will increase the value of the west coast economy. high portential. In other words, if we actively attract e-sports competitions using places such as casinos in Yeongjong-do so that many young gamers at home and abroad can come and go, the economy of Incheon and the west coast will be revitalized, and the e-sports industry is presented as an alternative in this study. In particular, as the 4th industrial era arrived under the foundation of information and communication after the computer was created, computer games have grown significantly as an industry group with convergence technologies such as artificial intelligence, which is a core technology. E-Sports has been recognized as a field with great potential for growth not only in Korea but also globally due to the spread of leisure culture and high-tech culture, and has established itself as a cultural venue in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Such e-sports has grown into an industry and is used in various fields, and as a successful model, it has a great influence on marketing in other industries. Therefore, in this paper, e-sports was defined and the status of e-sports at home and abroad was summarized, and an e-sports revenue model linking Incheon International Airport and Yeongjong Island was proposed so that e-sports can contribute to the development of the local cultural society and economy.
