국문 초록

본 논문은 서독의 학생운동 이후 등장한 ‘신 사회운동 Neue Soziale Bewegung’(여성운동, 평화운동, 반핵운동, 환경운동)의 하나인 독일 생태운동의 시대적 흐름을 살펴보되, 당시 그들의 가장 중요한 주제였던‘핵무기와 핵실험, 핵에너지’의 문제를 중심으로 고찰하고자 한다. 특히당시 독일의 생태운동이 대부분 반핵과 평화운동에 집중되어 있고 당시이슈화된 방사능과 핵문제의 심각성과 부작용은 오늘날까지 여전히 시의적인 주제라고 볼 수 있다. 이에 본 논문은 1950년대부터 1990년에 이르기까지 핵과 방사능, 원자력을 둘러싼 일련의 사건을 중심으로 독일 생태운동의 역사적 과정을 추적하고자 하며, 마지막 맺음말에서는 이른바‘생태국가’로서의 위상을 자랑하는 독일 정치적 반핵운동의 현황을 고찰함으로써 논문의 의의를 정리하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The German ecology movement was one of the ‘new social movements’ along with the women’s movement, the peace movement, the anti-nuclear movement, and the anti-war movement during the 1968 student movement in West Germany. Therefore the history of the ecology movement in Germany is closely related to the anti-nuclear movement and the peace movement. In particular, the seriousness and side effects of radioactivity and nuclear issues can still be seen as timely topics today. This paper focuses on the problems of nuclear weapons, nuclear tests, and nuclear energy from the 1950s to the 1980s. First, we looked at the 1950s in the early days of nuclear development, the 1960s when nuclear tests and the nuclear weapons industry accelerated during the Cold War, the 1970s when nuclear weapons confrontation intensified, and the 1980s when the Green Party was founded. In the conclusion of the thesis, it was described the current status of nuclear power plant facilities in Germany, a so-called 'eco-country', was compared with Korea.
