국문 초록

목 적 : 정신질환자의 인권보장과 탈수용화를 위한 치료환경 변화에 대한 사회적 요구가 높아지고 있다. 이에 따라 정신건강 기관에서는 정신질환자에게 포괄적인 서비스를 제공하기 위한 평가도구가 필요한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지역사회 정신건강기관에서 근무하는 정신건강 전문요원을 대상으로 한국형 정신건강 통합서비스 평가척도 개발을 위해 치료요구도 및 배치를 위한 평가도구 사용에 대한 인식을 조사하였다. 방 법 : 연구 참여자는 지역정신건강복지센터에서 정신건강서비스를 제공하기 위해 정신건강사례관리시스템을 활용하고 있는 정신건강 전문요원 5명을 대상으로 포커스그룹인터뷰를 하였다. 인터뷰 내용은 녹음 후 전사하여 조사내용을 중심으로 내용분석을 하였다. 결 과 : 본 연구의 결과 지역사회정신보건 현장에서 근무하는 정신건강전문요원들은 정신질환자에게 서비스 제공을 위한 서비스 요구도를 측정하기 위한 통합적 평가도구 개발과 사용에 있어 도구의 활용가능성, 개인적 역량 및 동기부여, 유지관리 등 3개의 상위범주와 10개의 하위 범주가 고려되어야 한다고 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결 론 : 본 연구는 한국형 정신건강 통합서비스 평가척도 개발에 고려해야 할 점을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 평가도구개발에 주요한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Purpose : A variety of mental health service providers now need an assessment tool to provide service to their patients, as it is required to protect the human rights of people with mental illnesses and change treatment environments with the introduction of the Mental Health Act, which was overhauled in 2016. This study surveyed mental health professionals working in the Community mental health welfare center, about their perceptions about the Korean assessment tool for mentally ill people’s treatment needs and placement. Methods : The participants in this study were five mental health professionals in the Community mental health welfare center, which uses the assessment tool to provide service to people with mental illnesses, and focus group interviews were conducted with these subjects. The interviews were recorded and transcribed, and then a content analysis was performed for this study’s investigation. Results : This study’s results demonstrated that mental health specialists, who served in the Community mental health field, perceived 3 categories-tool usability, personal competency and motivation, and maintenance-and 10 sub-categories need to be considered for the use of the assessment tool, which measures mental health service needs. Conclusion : This study holds significance as it presented the findings that should be considered to develop a Korean mental health service needs assessment tool, and would be used as one of the most important basic references to develop such a tool.
