재가 양육미혼모의 소외감 경험에 관한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

이 연구는 내러티브 탐구방법에 의거하여 재가 양육미혼모의 소외감 경험을 이해하고 의미를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 재가 양육미혼모 1인을 대상으로 2021년 7월부터 9월까지 심층 인터뷰를 진행하여 시간성, 사회성, 공간성의 분석틀로 경험의 의미를 파악하였다. 연구 결과로 연구참여자는 미혼모가 되기 이전부터 원가족, 학교, 직장, 사회, 그리고 애인 관계에서 이미 버려짐을 경험하였고, 미혼모가 된 후 새로운 가족과 지역사회로부터의 구조적인 버려짐을 경험했다. 그러나 소외감 경험은 재가 양육미혼모에게 강렬한 모성애를 경험하도록 이끄는 중요한 동기가 되었으며 소외감을 경험한 재가 양육미혼모에게 가장 큰 힘은 연결됨이다. 결론적으로 재가 양육미혼모의 소외감은 반복적 버려짐, 부정적 자기상, 사회의 편견과 배제가 연결되면서 확장되고 견고히 구조화되었으나 반복되는 버려짐의 상황에도 불구하고 자녀를 통해 경험하는 연결됨은 사랑과 치유의 관계를 형성하는 동력이 되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand and explore the alienation experience of a singlemother at home based on the narrative inquiry. For this purpose, in-depth interviews wereconducted from July to September 2021 with one unmarried mother at home. The meaning ofexperience was grasped by the framework of analysis of temporality, sociality, and place. Before becoming a single mother, the participant experienced continuous abandonment throughfamily of origin, school, work, society, and lover relationship. After becoming a single mother,she experienced another abandonment from the community. The alienation of the unmarriedmother at home was expanded and solidly structured by repeated abandonment, negativeself-image, and social prejudice and exclusion, but the experience of alienation became animportant motivation for unmarried mother to experience intense maternal love. Despitepoverty, social prejudice, and repeated abandonment, the connection that an unmarried motherexperiences through her child has become a driving force for the relationship between love andhealing.
