국문 초록

정보통신기술(ICT)의 지속적인 발전으로 사이버범죄 또한 진화되고, 다양화 되어 우리 삶 곳곳에서 발생하고 있다. 특히 범죄예방과 진입 및 수사 등 전 분야에서는 사이버 공간을 제외하고는 접근할 수 없을 정도로 사이버 공간은 경찰의 업무에서 매우 중요하다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 모든 경찰관은 정보통신기술(IT)을 활용하는 사이버수사 요원이라고 보아도 무리가 되지 않는다. 사이버범죄의 잠재적 수사요원인 신임경찰관의 능력은 자신이 맡은 업무를 수행하는 과정에서 자연스럽게 배양될 수 도 있다. 하지만 업무수행을 통해 배울 수 있는 지식에는 한계가 있으므로 능력배양에 필요한 지식, 기술, 태도를 인위적이고 능동적으로 함양시켜야 한다. 즉, 사이버범죄를 대응하는 경찰관은 개인의 선천적 능력에만 의존할 수 없으므로 효과적이고 능률적인 임무를 수행할 수 있도록 정보통신기술(ICT)에 관한 교육훈련을 받아야 한다. 특히 신임순경은 최 일선에서 국민에게 직접 명령, 강제하는 권력 작용을 행사하기 때문에 이들의 자질향상을 위한 교육훈련은 더욱 더 중요한 과정으로서 의미를 가진다. 신임순경은 사이버범죄에 대응하기 위한 잠재적 수사요원으로서 우수한 전문적인 경찰공무원이 되기 위해 개인의 능력을 발전시키고, 경찰관으로서 기본자질을 가추기 위해 준비하며 기초적인 경찰 본연의 업무를 신임교육을 통해 학습하게 된다. 특히 경찰공무원은 경찰이라는 직업을 선택한 후 오랜 기간의 수험생활을 통해 경찰직에 입직하는 것이 보통의 과정이라고 볼 수 있다. 정보통신기술(ICT)은 급속한 발전으로 장기간 수험생활을 거친 신임경찰은 정보통신기술(ICT)이 무감각해지거나 오랫동안 접하지 못해 관련 기술을 습득하는데 많은 어려움을 겪게 되어 수험생활의 특성에 따라 경찰의 진로선택, 학습선호, 활동참여, 직업만족, 교육만족, 교육수행의 정도는 분명 차이가 있을 것이다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 수험생활에 따른 진로선택과, 진로만족 그리고 교육수행에 대한 차이, 진로선택과 진로만족이 교육을 수행하는데 미치는 영향을 분석하여 사이버범죄에 대응하기 위한 잠재적 수사요원인 신임경찰 교육생의 특성에 맞는 맞춤형 생활지도 및 교육방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

With the continued development of ICT (Information Communication Technology), cybercrime has also evolved and diversified, occurring everywhere in our lives. Especially, cyberspace is considered as an essential part of police duties due to being contained within every part of tasks such as crime prevention, penetration, and investigation. The ability of the new police officer, a potential investigator of cybercrime, can be naturally inculcated in the process of carrying out his or her duties. However, the knowledge that can be learned through the task performance is limited, so the expertise, skills, and attitudes necessary for developing abilities must be nurtured artificially and actively. Since police officers confronting cybercrimes cannot rely solely on an individual's innate abilities, they should receive education training on ICT to perform their duties efficiently. As a potential investigator to counter cybercrime, the recruits take courses developing individual skills, preparing themselves for basic qualifications as police officers, and learning essential police duties through recruit education. This study analyzed the differences in career choices, career satisfaction, educational performance, and the effects of career choices and career satisfaction on educational performance. We also suggest customized guidance and educational direction for potential investigators' characteristics who would confront to cybercrime.
