교육과정의 이차곡선 교수․학습 유의 사항과 교과서 및 교사용 지도서 구성에 대한 소고(小考)

국문 초록

2015 개정 수학과 교육과정 도입에 따라 이차곡선에 대한 내용 체계뿐만 아니라 이차곡선 도입 방식을 비롯한 ‘교수ㆍ학습 방법 및 유의 사항’에 변화가 동반되었다. 그러나 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정과 이에 기반하여 집필된 고등학교 <기하> 교과서 및 교사용 지도서의 정합성(整合性) 측면 분석 결과 ‘교수ㆍ학습 방법 및 유의 사항’에 두 가지 개선점이 도출되었다. 첫째, 개정된 교육과정에 기반하여 집필된 교과서와 교사용 지도서의 구성이 교육과정과 일부 상응하지 못하고 있었다. 둘째, ‘교수ㆍ학습 방법 및 유의 사항’의 일부는 수학 교과의 선이수과목 편성에 따른 이수기준으로 인하여 단위학교 교육과정 편성과 상충되어 개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 교과서 및 교사용 지도서가 교육과정과 정합성을 갖추기 못하고 이질적으로 구성될 경우 학교 현장 특히 학생을 지도하는 교사의 입장에서는 상당한 혼란에 직면할 수 있다. 내용 영역이 교육과정의 중심적 요소가 되는 수학과에서는 교육과정과 교과서의 정합성에 보다 세심한 주의가 요구된다.

영문 초록

With the introduction of the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum, changes were accompanied not only in the content system for quadratic curves, but also in ‘teaching and learning methods and precautions’ including the method of introducing quadratic curves. However, as a result of analyzing the consistency aspect of the 2015 revised mathematics curriculum and the high school textbooks and teacher's guide books written based on it, two points of improvement were derived in ‘teaching and learning methods and precautions’. First, the composition of the textbooks and teacher’s guide books written based on the revised curriculum did not partly correspond to it. Second, it was found that some of ‘teaching and learning methods and precautions’ conflicted with the unit school curriculum arrangement due to the completion standard according to the pre-requisite course arrangement in the mathematics course and needed improvement. If textbooks and teacher’s guide books do not match the curriculum and are composed heterogeneously, considerable confusion may be encountered at school sites, especially for teachers who guide students. In mathematics, where the content area is the central element of the curriculum, more careful attention is required for the coherence of the curriculum and textbooks.
