교사 설문 조사를 통한 병설 유치원 실내 공간 안전성 영향 요소 분석연구

국문 초록

최근 증가하는 공교육화에 대한 요구에 의해 공립유치원인 초등학교 병설유치원의 수가 꾸준히 증가하고 있다. 그러나 초등학교 병설 유치원의 경우, 초등학생과 유아가 함께 사용하는 공간에서 생활 안전 및 범죄 안전이 우려되는 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구는 병설 유치원 교사를 대상으로 병설 유치원실내 공간의 구성요소에 대한 안전성 인식 및 개선방안을 조사하기 위해 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 이를 통해 유아의 안전에 영향을 미치는 병설 유치원의 공간구성요소를 도출하여 안전한 병설 유치원 환경 조성을 위한 개선 방향을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구는 다음과 같은 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 설문 조사 결과, 공간구성요소 중 ‘면적’은 모든 공간에서 높은 영향력을 나타냈고, 면적을 제외하고공간구성요소가 각 공간의 안전성 인식에 미치는 영향력은 공간별로 상이하게 나타났다. 이에 따라 충분한 면적으로 계획된 병설 유치원 전용 공간을 확보하면서, 각 공간을 조성할 때는 공간별 구성요소의 안전 측면의 설계 우선순위를 고려해야 한다. 둘째, 생활 안전에 대한 교사의 인식이 가장 낮게 나타난 현관 공간은 공간 안전성 인식에 대한 ‘출입문’의 영향력이 가장 높게 나타남에 따라 손 끼임 방지 장치 설치, 문턱 제거, 시창 설치 등 유아가안전하게 사용할 수 있는 출입문 계획을 고려해야 한다. 마지막으로 범죄 안전에 대한 교사의 인식이 가장 낮게 나타난 복도/홀 공간은 병설 유치원 전용 복도/홀 공간을 확보하면서 교사의 감시·감독이 용이한 개방적인 구조로계획하는 것을 중점적으로 고려하여 다양한 범죄안전사고에 대응할 수 있는공간 계획이 필요하다. 추후 연구에는 병설 유치원생의 실내 공간뿐만 아니라실외공간까지 그 영역을 확대하여 병설 유치원 공간 전반에 대한 안전을 확보할 수 있는 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Due to the recent increasing demand for public education, the number of kindergartens attached to elementary schools, which are public kindergartens, is steadily increasing. However, in the case of kindergartens attached to elementary schools, living safety and criminal safety are concerned in the space used by elementary school students and infants together. Therefore, this study conducted a questionnaire survey on safety awareness and improvement measures for the components of each space for kindergarten teachers attached. Through this, we intend to propose improvement directions for creating a safe attached kindergarten environment by deriving the components of the indoor space of the attached kindergarten that affects the safety of infants. This study can conclude as follows. First, as the survey showed that the area of the space components had a high influence in all spaces, and the influence of the space components on the safety perception of each space was different for each space except the area, it was necessary to plan the space separately. Second, the entrance space with the lowest awareness of living safety has the highest influence on spatial safety awareness, so it is necessary to consider door plans that can be used safely by infants, such as installing anti-fingertility devices, removing thresholds, and installing market windows. Finally, the corridor/hall space, which has the lowest awareness of criminal safety, needs to be planned in an open structure that is easy to monitor and supervise teachers while securing a corridor/hall space for attached kindergartens. In future research, it is necessary to find a way to secure safety for the entire attached kindergarten space by expanding its area not only to the indoor space but also to the outdoor space of attached kindergarten students.
