상호텍스트성으로 본 『어린왕자』의 교육적 의미

국문 초록

본 연구는 상호텍스트성 동화활동의 유아교육적 의미를 도출하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 문학이론에서 현대적 개념으로 적용되고 있는 열린 텍스트관점을 적용하는 것은 동화를 읽어간다는 의미보다 독자가 동화의 주인공과 만나는 것이다. 또한 서로 이야기를 주고받는 방식으로 독자와 책의 만남을 친밀하게 지속하는 것에 중점을 두고 이러한 과정에서 독자는 새로운 삶의 세계에 대한 의미를 발견하고 그 발견된 것에 대해서 깊이 성찰하는 활동을 병행하였다. 이를 위하여 260여 개의 언어로 번역되고 전 세계 1억 부 이상 판매되며 현재까지도 많은 독자들의 사랑을 받고 있는 생텍쥐페리의 대표작인 『어린 왕자』를 중심으로 분석하였다. 상호텍스트성으로 분석한 결과, 『어린 왕자』의 교육적 의미는 첫째, 우리가 살고 있는 세상은 사람마다 다르게 보일 수 있다는 것, 둘째, 어른과 어린이가 살아가는 세상이 다르다는 것, 셋째, 세상은 보이는 세상과 보이지 않는 세상이 있다는 것, 넷째, 어린이를 어른의 세계관으로 대하면 안 된다는 것, 다섯째, 어른과 어린이는 함께 성장하는 상호텍스트성 관계라는 것이다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 동화활동의 유아교육적 의미와 적용방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to derived the meaning of intertextual fairy tale activities in early childhood education. Applying the open text perspective, which is applied as a modern concept in literary theory, means that the reader meets the main character of the fairy tale rather than reading the fairy tale. In addition, the focus was on intimately continuing the encounter between the reader and the book in the way of exchanging stories with each other, and in this process, the reader discovered the meaning of the new world of life and deeply reflected on what was discovered. As a result of intertextuality analysis, the educational meaning of ‘The Little Prince’ is as follows: First, the world in which we live can be seen differently by each person; Second, the world in which adults and children live is different; Third, the world has a visible and an invisible world; Fourth, children should not be treated as an adult's worldview, and fifth, adults and children are intertextual relationships that grow together. Based on these results, the meaning of fairy tale activities in early childhood education and application methods were discussed.
