장애인 평생교육기관의 프로그램 평가 현황 및 개선 요구 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 우리나라 장애인 평생교육기관의 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 평가 현황 및 개선 요구를알아보기 위해 장애인 평생교육기관에서 장애인 평생교육 프로그램을 운영한 장애인 평생교육기관관계자를 대상으로 설문 조사를 수행하고 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 평가에 대한 이들의 경험과 요구를 분석하였다. 연구에 참여한 장애인 평생교육기관 관계자는 총 142명으로 평생교육시설에 종사하는관계자가 53명, 장애인복지시설에 종사하는 관계자가 89명으로 구성되었다. 이들을 대상으로 수행한설문 조사의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인 평생교육기관 관계자들은 주로 학습자의 만족도파악이라는 목적을 달성하기 위해 프로그램 평가를 수행하였으며, 이에 따라 프로그램 만족도 평가방법을 가장 많이 사용하였고 주로 소속 기관에서 자체 개발한 평가도구를 활용하여 프로그램 평가를수행하여 기관 내부보고 자료로 활용한다고 응답하였다. 둘째, 장애인 평생교육기관 관계자들은 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 평가 현황의 개선에 대해 장애인 평생교육기관의 평가 관련 역량 부족이 가장시급한 개선 사항이라 인식하고 있었으며, 표준화된 평가도구 개발이 가장 필요하다고 요구하였다. 또한, 이상의 연구 결과를 바탕으로 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 평가 발전 방안에 대해 표준화된 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 평가도구 개발, 장애인 평생교육 관계자 전문성 강화 연수 운영, 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 평가 결과 공유 시스템 구축 등과 같은 내용을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In order to find out the evaluation status and improvement needs of lifelong education programs for persons with disabilities in lifelong education institutions for persons with disabilities in Korea, this study conducted a survey targeting officials of lifelong education institutions for persons with disabilities in Korea, who operated lifelong education programs for them in the institutions and analyzed the experiences and needs of the officials regarding the program evaluation. A total of 142 people, involved in lifelong educational institutions for persons with disabilities, participated in this study, and it consisted of 53 people working in lifelong education institutions and 89 people working in welfare institutions for persons with disabilities. The main findings of the survey conducted on them are as follows. First, the officials of lifelong education institutions for persons with disabilities conducted program evaluation mainly for the purpose of finding out the satisfaction level of learners. Accordingly, the program satisfaction evaluation method was used the most, and the respondents responded that the program evaluation was performed using an in-house developed evaluation tool at the affiliated institution and used as data for internal reporting of the institution. Secondly, the officials of lifelong education institutions for persons with disabilities recognized that the lack of evaluation-related capacity of the institutions was the most urgent need for improvement, and demanded the development of standardized evaluation tools. In addition, based on the above research results, the development of standardized evaluation tools on lifelong education program for persons with disabilities, the operation of training for education officials to strengthen their professionalism, and the establishment of a system for sharing program evaluation results were discussed regarding the development of lifelong education program evaluation for persons with disabilities.
