키워드를 활용한 글쓰기 지도 방안에 대한 제언

국문 초록

본고에서는 문장과 단락 쓰기에 관련된 사항을 중심으로 ‘키워드’를 활용한 대학생 학습자들의 글쓰기 지도 방안에 대하여 살펴보았다. 지금까지 글쓰기와 관련된 선행 연구들은 주로 교육과정, 교수법, 첨삭 지도 등에 대해 다루었기에, 키워드를 활용한 글쓰기 지도와 관련된 연구는 찾아보기 어려웠다. 학습자들이 글을 쓸 때 문장 쓰기와 문장 연결하기, 단락 쓰기, 단락 구성하기 등을 가장 어려워한다. 그런데 이와 관련된 사항들은 특정 글쓰기 관련 원리로 교수-학습하기에 한계가 있다. 따라서 본고에서는 이러한 글쓰기의 어려움을 조금이나마 해소할 수 있는 방안으로 키워드를 활용할 것을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 키워드의 개념과 그것이 갖추어야 할 조건 등을 살펴보았다. 그리고 어휘 의미의 상하 관계를 적용하여 ‘상위 키워드’와 ‘하위 키워드’를 설정할 수 있음과, 키워드들 사이의 우선순위와 관련하여 살펴보았다. 학습자들의 글에서 나타나는 키워드들은 평면적이고 단순한 것이 아니라 다면적이고 다소 복잡한 특성이 있기 때문이다. 나아가 문장과 단락의 측면에서 이러한 키워드를 어떻게 활용하여 학습자들의 글쓰기 과정에 적용할 것인지에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

In this paper, I have studied writing teaching method by using keywords for academic student learner especially with sentences and paragraphs. Previous studies related to writing mainly focused on curriculum, pedagogy, and teaching guidance, so that it was difficult to find researches related to writing instruction using keywords. In fact, the most difficult part for learners when writing is writing sentences, linking sentences, writing paragraphs, and composing paragraphs. However, matters related to this cannot be taught and learned with specific rules or principles etc. Therefore, in this paper, I propose to use keywords as a way to solve these difficulties in writing. To this end, first of all I examined the concept and the conditions of keyword. And I set the hierarchical relationship as ‘keyword as hypernym’ and ‘hyponymous keyword’ by applying lexical meaning, then I examined the matters related to the priority between keywords. Because the keywords appearing in the learners’ writings were not flat and simple, but had multifaceted and somewhat complex characteristics. Furthermore, I discussed how to use these keywords in terms of sentences and paragraphs.
