국문 초록

본 연구는 성인발달장애인의 부모가 자녀 돌봄에서 경험하는 부모소진을 측정할 수 있는 척도를 개발하고 타당화하였다. 이를 위해 성인발달장애인의 부모를 대상으로 개별면담 내용과 선행이론 분석을 통해 부모소진의 구성개념과 예비문항을 선정하였다. 그리고 전문가 내용타당도 평정을 거쳐 예비척도를 개발하고 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 수행하였다. 분석 결과, 총 20문항을 본 척도의 최종 문항으로 확정하였으며 돌봄 한계 인식(6문항), 역기능적 돌봄(4문항), 정서적 거리두기(4문항), 신체화 증상(4문항), 관계 불만족(2문항)의 5개 하위요인을 확인하였다. 개발된 척도의 타당화를 위해 수렴 및 변별타당도, 준거타당도를 분석한 결과, 양호한 수렴 및 변별타당도, 준거타당도가 검증되어 성인발달장애인 부모의 부모소진을 측정하는 타당한 도구임을 확인하였다. 마지막으로, 연구의 제한점과 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to develop and validate a parental burnout scale for parents of adults with developmental disabilities. This study selected the psychometric properties and preliminary questions of the parental burnout based on the analysis of interview data from parents of adults with developmental disabilities and reviewing of existing literature. Then, preliminary scale was developed after expert’s evaluation of the contents validity and conducted an exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. As a result of the analysis, 20 items consisting of five sub-factors were confirmed as the final question. To secure validity of the developed scale, the convergent and discriminant validity and the reference validity of the scale was examined and confirmed the adequacy of the scale to measure parental burnout of parents of adults with developmental disabilities. Finally, the limitations of the study and suggestions for follow-up studies were discussed.
