미 참여 학생들의 요구 분석을 통한 한국 학생들의 아세안 교환학생 프로그램 참여 활성화 방안 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 한-아세안 학생교류 프로그램 참여 가능성이 비교적 높은 대학생을 중심으로, 학생의 관점에서 한-아세안 교환학생 프로그램에 대한 요구를 조사한 후 이를 바탕으로 한-아세안 교환학생 프로그램의 활성화 방안을 탐색하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 Campus Asia AIMS 사업 참여 대학 혹은 아세안 관련 학과 소속 학생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 또한 아세안 교환학생 프로그램 미 참여/기 참여 학생과 프로그램 운영 담당자를 대상으로 면담을 실시하였다. 집단 간 차이 검증을 통해 설문조사 결과를 분석하였고, 이후 면담자료를 기노시타(木下康仁)의 수정 근거이론 접근법을 통해 분석하는 혼합연구방법을 수행하였다. 연구 결과, 학생들의 배경변인에 따라 아세안 교환학생 프로그램에 대한 의견이 다양하게 나타남을 확인하였다. 이를 바탕으로 배경변인에 따라 학생들을 그룹화하고 각 그룹에 맞는 인센티브 마련, 온/오프라인 프로그램의 효과적 활용, 전략적 타겟 국가 설정, 가치와 필요성에 대한 적극적 홍보와 같은 개선 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to explore the requests from the Korean students’ view point regarding on the Korea-ASEAN exchange student program and to seek for the ways to promote the program based on the findings. For the data collection, surveys were provided to the students affiliated in the universities which took parts in Campus Asia AIMS or to the students majoring in disciplines related to ASEAN. In addition, the researchers interviewed students who have and have not participated, and the program operators of the ASEAN exchange student program for more comprehensive information. The quantitative data of the questionnaire were examined by t-test and ANOVA and the qualitative data from the interviews were examined based on the revised grounded theory approach of Kinoshita. By analyzing the results, it is found that students had different opinions regarding the program based on their background variables. Based on the findings, improvement plans are suggested like follows: to group students and provide suitable incentives considering their background variables, to use on/offline programs effectively, to recommend destination countries strategically and to actively advertise the value and importance of the program.
