국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구는 특수학교와 일반학교 간의 통합교육 운영 실태를 파악하고, 효과적인 통합교육 운영을 위한 고려 사항을 파악하고자 실시하였다. 연구방법: 이를 위해 교육 현장에 근무하는 특수교사 3명과 일반교사 3명을 대상으로 특수학교와 일반학교 간의 통합교육의 필요성과 효과성 및 개선사항에 대하여 심층 면담을 진행하였다. 연구결과: 면담 자료를 체계적으로 비교분석 한 결과 3개의 대주제와 8개의 상위주제, 22개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 특수학교와 일반학교의 통합교육은 참여 학생, 학부모, 교사, 학교 관리자 특성에 따라 교육효과에 차이가 있었으며, 장애학생과 비장애학생 모두에게 교육적으로 긍정적인 측면이 있었다. 하지만 기존 특수학교와 일반학교 간의 통합교육 운영 과정의 한계가 있어 향후 이러한 사항을 개선하기 위한 방안이 제시되었다. 결론: 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 하여 중도 장애가 있는 특수학교 재학생과 일반학교 비장애학생 간의 통합교육을 위한 실시 방안을 모색하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to understand the status of inclusive education between special schools and general schools and to identify ways for a more effective inclusive education. Method: In-depth interviews were conducted with three special education teachers and three general teachers concerning inclusive education with an eye toward necessities, effectiveness as well as improvements. Results: The results showed that inclusive education between special schools and general schools has different educational effects according to the characteristics of participating students, teachers, parents, and school administrators in addition to having positive educational effects for both students with and without disabilities. However, due to the limitations of the existing inclusive education operation process, measures were proposed to improve these matters in the future. These were the improvement of the awareness of the people concerned, the provision of administrative and financial support, consistent inclusive education, the implementation of online inclusive education, and the development of quality inclusive education programs. Conclusion: Based on the research results, appropriate measures for inclusive education for both special schools and general schools were discussed.
