국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 유아교육현장에서 오르프 교수법의 교육적 의미를 재조명해보고 적용의가치를 탐색하는데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 1968-2022년의 우리나라 국내 등재(후보)학술지 63편 논문을 기초·응용·평가 연구로 분류하여 오르프 교수법 연구의 특성을 살펴보았다. 연구결과: 첫째, 기초 연구는 초기, 중기, 후기 시기에 따라 심층적 분석으로 변화하고 있다는것을 보여 주고 있다. 둘째, 응용 연구에서 영유아, 초등학생, 청소년, 성인 등을 연구 대상으로 하였으며 연령에 따라 다른 프로그램 개발 연구들이 이루어지고 있는데그 중에서도 초등학생을 대상으로 하는 연구들이 가장 많다. 셋째, 평가 연구들에서는 연구대상에 따라 오르프 교수법에 기초한 다양한 프로그램 개발과 효과검증 연구가 계속되고 있는데 영유아를 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많다. 연구결론: 오르프 교수법을 기초·응용·평가 연구로 살펴본 결과 왜 영유아를 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 적은지를 2가지로 분석하게 되었다. 첫째, 초등학교 교사들이 오르프 교수법에 대한 연구를 가장 많이 하고 있다. 둘째, 유아교육기관에서는 특성화교사(음악수업담당)에 의해 오르프 활동이 주로 이루어지고 있다. 그 결과 오르프 교수법이유아, 놀이중심활동임에도 불구하고 영유아를 대상으로 하는 오르프 프로그램 개발및 적용 연구가 미흡할 수밖에 없다는 결론을 얻었다. 2019 개정 누리과정에서는교사의 역량 역시 중요하다고 언급하고 있다. 영유아를 대상으로 오르프 교수법에기초한 프로그램 개발, 적용 연구가 계속 이루어진다면 유아교육기관에서 음악교육의 질을 높일 수 있을 것이라고 기대한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to re-examine the educational meaning of Orff'steaching method in the field of early childhood education and to explore thevalue of its application. Methods: The characteristics of Orff's teaching method were examined by categorizing63 papers of Korean registered (candidate) academic journals from 1968 to2022 into basic, application, and evaluation studies. Results: First, it shows that basic research is changing to in-depth analysis accordingto the early, mid, and late periods. Second, in applied research, infants,elementary school students, adolescents, and adults were studied, and otherprogram development studies are being conducted according to age, andamong them, the most are elementary school students. Third, in theevaluation studies, various program development and effectiveness verificationstudies based on the Orff teaching method continue according to the researchsubject, with the most studies targeting young children. Conclusion: As a result of examining the Orff teaching method as a basic, application,and evaluation study, two studies were analyzed for young children. First,elementary school teachers are doing the most research on Orff teachingmethods. Second, in early childhood education institutions, Orff activities aremainly conducted by specialized teachers (in charge of music classes). As aresult, it was concluded that the research on the development and applicationof the Orff program for young children was inevitably insufficient, eventhough the Orff teaching method was a young children and play-orientedactivity. In the 2019 revised Nuri course, it is mentioned that the competencyof teachers is also important. It is expected that the quality of music education in early childhood education institutions will be improved if theprogram development and application research based on the Orff teachingmethod are continued for young children.
