국문 초록

오늘날 문학교육은 학습독자들이 자신이 속한 계층에서 경험한 내용과 그들이 향유한 대중문화의 속성을 결합할 때 효과적으로 수행될 수 있다. 이러한 문화교육으로서의 문학교육론이 교과내적이냐 외적이냐 하는 것은 소모적이다. 본고는 이러한 관점에서 대중 문화 매체 속에서 성장하는 학습독자들에게 효과적인 문학교육을 수행하기 위한 방법의 일환으로 쓰여졌다.본고는 특히 오늘날 문학의 존재양상이 문화와 관계 맺고 있는 양상, 즉 문화텍스트와 문학 텍스트의 대화적 관계에 주목하여 문학과 문화의 결합과 이동양상을 고찰, 이를 학습환경에 활용하도록 구안되었다. 본고는 문학과 문화의 결합과 전이양상을 살피고 이를 교육현장에 적용하는 과정에서 대중가요 가사, 키치시, 시에 나타나는 공통적인 요소의 발견, 문학 발상법의 광고 수용, 영화 모티프의 문학 수용 등을 고찰하였고, 이어 학습독자를 문화에 대한 비판적 주체로 세우기 위한 전략을 고찰했다. 효과적인 문학교육을 위한 구체적인 방법을 문학과 문화의 결합전이양상을 중심으로 살핀 본 논의는 문학을 통한 문화 이해와, 역으로 문화를 통한 문학 이해 방법의 개발을 통해 학습독자들이 문학에 친숙하게 다가갈 수 있는 구체적인 방법을 제시하고, 이러한 교육을 효과적으로 수행하기 위한 능동적인 학습독자의 모델을 상정함으로써 새로운 감수성과 환경에 처한 학습독자를 위한 문학교육에 작은 기여를 할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

In the these days, literature has the characteristics connecting the cultural materials and contents from every day life, through which learners can learn how to build up their attitude toward life. Learners enjoy the culture's media and understand literature through their interest to public culture's prospect. Public culture broadens their spere of expression. So, this thesis aims at providing a new methodology in teaching literature through public culture, in according to learners interests. And I studied how such a teaching method can be put into practice in literature teaching and evaluated its effects. I proposed to use three methods in literature education, first, the understanding of common factors between literature and other different culture(a popular song, kitch poems), second, the reorganization of the literary factor to other culture's media(such as an ad etc.), lastly, conversely the reorganization of the culture's factor(such as cinema's speech) to literature. And I studied method to teach individuals how to think critically toward public culture and its ideology. I think that this thesis plays a role as a model of literature educational work in field, in the view point of the understanding of literature through culture, and the understanding of culture through literature. In conclusion, I have a the opinion that literature education should be a sort of cultural education.
