영문 초록

This study is to estimate the magnitude of rural tourism and to evaluate the market share out of the domestic tourism contexture. Author developed methods to estimate both annual visits and trip expenditures of rural tourists in a single survey. Annual visits per person was estimated by applying a logistic model to the average days of visit obtained from the in-season survey. On the basis of the results, the average number of rural tourism participation was estimated as 2.77 visits per participant and annual tourism volume was 30,542 thousand visits. With applying logistic function on cumulated number of domestic tourism, the total number of domestic tourism per person was found 5.22 and the national domestic tourism volume was estimated as 272,650 thousand visits.
